This song is a lot of feels. Drums tracks finished while waiting with wife in labor, song originally just an in your face "most pit" grinder, this is just a rough demo as with all my tracks, i'm still figuring out home studio refinements and software know how. But I feel potential for lyrics if any collaboratives want to hit me up, I have lyrics for it with rhythm, but i can't play and do vocals. Hope you enjoy the energy in this one, it picks up after the intro.

Slow Burn

really happy to get this song recorded, it took over a year to finish writing and another 8 months to make time for recording. I call this song "push and shove" because its about everybody climbing for relief, the struggle to make it, how business takes priority over being a human being. Its about the underdog being unrecognized and the loud mouth that does nothing but complains the most. How we are always adjusting to new standardizations of living, yet we never are the ones deeming what we adjust to, we are the writers of our fate but we should never push and shove others who journey upon the same path.

Sound Waves

I finished recording this song after my uncle died. I had seen him 3 days before he passed and I was telling him about finding the motivation to finish recording this song. He reminded me of how good it is to reap the benefit of your hard work and how satisfying it is to hear the song after you've finished recording it. This song is called honor in death because your merits and your deeds are eternal. This is part of my Fire project as part of my upcoming album. The music in the streets that never sleep. A testament to all walks of life. From the crime to the homeless, the grind of poverty to the hustle for family and doing whatever it takes, and to being able to grow. This song has 5 perspectives, 
1 - the cop (siren)
2 - the homeless man (singing in beginning as next perspective walks by)
3 - "you" the listener (the footsteps in the beginning who walks by the homeless man and dog)
4 - the dog (barking)
5 - whomever the cops are chasing

All walks of life are within us all.

Street Music

A samurai before a duel would bow to his opponent, to show honor and respect. This song is a duel with the sound and energy that underlies the progression. Image bowing to one another in the intro, then imagine intricate sword dances after the first kick, with pauses in movement to analyze your stance and your opponents. The snare kicking in after the 2nd pause is like using what you have learned/trained in and putting it into real life application. Life is the dojo we bow in and out of, martial arts are in all actions.

Bushido

This track I wrote in dedication to a friend who died a few years back. He was only 24 and he was a guitarist as well who specialized in blues. He use to host open mic nights at the old bar I use to work at which was his next door neighbor. He was an amazing musician that I wish I had recorded myself had I not been working. He was a good guy with so much potential. I have a version of this song with the lyrics that I wrote which I may post if I get enough hits on this song with just the instruments. Hope you all enjoy

Rock Solid Blues

I'm doing this for the music, self produced, self taught, and still learning. I proclaim no mastery of music, however, I hold high regards for the potential of any music of any kind and always seek knowledge to always improve...a lost art. I hold value to all types of music and wish to express all types of music through my first concept album. The three elements of fire, earth, and water will be themes or metaphoric representations to different types of music genres and sounds. I don't list all genres because I'm not a master of all genres yet. But I will get there with practice. I want this project to be something that anybody can listen to or have a favorite song. If I have done that, I have succeeded. 
Fire - metal, punk, hard rock, classical
Water - ambient, lo-fi, psychedelic, 
Earth - acoustic/clean, blues, country, classic rock, traditional world, hip hop, reggae
