After the successful first volume released last year, Jean Pierre's label Pakate Records is back with another Various Artists compilation to celebrate one of the busiest weeks of the year. As always, Miami Music Week means seductive groovy beats, stripped-back drums, and hip-moving Latin influences. With its seven original tracks - "Pakate Alike - Miami 2023" contains everything you need to get your body moving throughout all the WMC marathons.

Opening cut "This Is Why" sees label-head Jean Pierre teaming up with fellow NYC artist David Berrie for a malicious, scattering jazzy jam, followed by a tight techy number by Rhoowax and the highly addictive "Problema" by Shahar & Motum with Luquez on the mic. To follow, we welcome back Rhoger & Blockhead with the bubbling "G Woman", Cuttin' Headz affiliate Daniel Orpi, Trangaz & Lowest and Davide Mentesana, all providing essential dancefloor tunes. Tilburg (the Netherlands) Based DJ and Producer Rob Stillekens (98’) began his music career in 2020.At the start of his career he won a remix competition of Mike Morrisey at ADN Records (ITA).  From that moment on he managed to release on well established labels like: Kaluki Music, Woodlands Records and Libero Records. 

Well established artist like: Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati, Ilario Alicante, Michael Bibi, Solardo, Franky Rizardo and many more have shown support towards rob’s music

Rob has shared lineups with artist like Loco Dice, Joseph Capriati and PAWSA to name a few and you might have seen him play at events such as FLOW, Givesoul, Heatzone and many more.

Many years of listening to all kinds of house music lead him to be creative and have variety within his own sound. Rob’s productions are especially known for their percussive heavy groove’s, deep baselines, catchy vocal hooks and unique underground sound.
