Alex Kaminski is Russian German focusing on down-tempo electronic music inspired by a wide range of sounds; from former soviet, Kazakh and Ukrainian folk to the more Latin inspired melodies coming from the Andes and Amazon Region. 

His newest EP Kalokairi is exceptional and we are very honored that WAYU Records have asked us to premiere one of our favorite tracks of the EP Agape. It has that wonderful down tempo feel good vibe to it which we love and therefore cannot wait to play this for our next sunset session. About the Kalokairi EP: 

Kalokairi takes you into a journey of the three phases of love, based on Greek literature and philosophy. The first phase, Eros, describes the initial passion and physical attraction between two individuals. It is the first impression of either a relationship, or in this case, a musical art form. The second phase, Philia, talks about conditional love, the aspect of a relationship in which one's attraction is dependent on receiving something from the other person inolved in it. This mid-phase offers the listener something more than just an initial attraction; it engages and creates a compromise that will lead you into the third and final phase of love; Agape. Ultimately, Agape is the phase we all long for, unconditional love. This is the phase that best describes what an artist expects from an audience. It is not the superficial emotions that could come along with electronic music in some cases, but the unconditional passion for rhythm and melody that fuels an artists's mind into creating the next experience for his or her audience.

A few months ago, we discovered the label Wayu Records @wayurecords and loved the releases and the vibe coming out of it. After getting in touch, we worked on this remix for Mio & His Flute. We tried melting guitars with trancy & groovy touches.

London Producer and DJ Geist (@glenc), who now resides in Sweden, is thrilled to release 'Babylon Calling.' This deep EP composed of 5 tracks (3 originals and 2 remixes) takes us through a historic journey of greek mythology and kingdoms. 'Babylon Calling' carefully narrates a story with modern sounds that act as a tool for creating an imaginary environment.

The arrangement tells a story of passage, a mysterious odyssey that can only be understood if you let yourself be dominated by its musicality and melancholic, yet mischievous, short melodies. Although the softness of this EP translates perfectly in a small listening environment, it can also stand strong in a club setting.
