Acid Scape is a sonic exploration of Acid and Downtempo, fusing hypnotic rhythms with deep, atmospheric textures. This EP blends a variety of global influences, from Afro-Latin and Brazilian percussion to Indian and Arabic melodies. By merging traditional instruments with modern electronic production, each track creates a seamless fusion of organic and synthetic sounds, unified by the unmistakable pulse of Acid basslines.
Beyond the music, Acid Scape reflects a personal journey. My father, who recently passed away, introduced me to the rich musical traditions of Tunisia, where he lived and studied in his twenties. His influence, alongside my Brazilian family, shaped my early love for diverse sounds. This EP, in many ways, is a tribute to that musical upbringing and the cultures that have influenced my life.
As an adopted child, music has always been my way of navigating a complex sense of identity. My musical persona, Hobo Noise, reflects this journey-a restless wanderer in search of meaning, where different cultures and sounds come together to form something new.
With Acid Scape, I aim to dissolve musical boundaries, offering a deep, immersive experience where global traditions and modern electronic techniques intersect.
