We welcome Amentia to our Sol Selectas tribe, with their exotic new EP "Miracle D'Hwange". Three original tracks inspired by Zimbabwe, and built around the traditional mbira instrument, these songs take us on a journey down the beautiful Zambezi River that stretches across this African land. We begin our adventure with "Victoria", easing us into the jungles, soothing our mind with the fresh water from the largest waterfall on the planet. "Antilope" takes it name from the wild animals galloping along the banks of the river, the percussion representing their playful ways, as we navigate down river. Lastly we end with "Miracle D’Hwange" a deep moving song with vocals to purify your soul in Hwange, a special place of tranquility and home to a large variety of animals on Earth.  Canson remixes "Victoria" into a feel good down beat groove, which oozes rays of sunshine while moving your hips. And finally, our dear friend Armen Miran, gives us a deep and dubby version of "Miracle D'Hwange" that shakes the jungle spirits. The Artwork by Helia Jamali brings us into the visual safari to the dreamland of Zimbabwe.

Acid Pauli BLD Remixes A 

Acid Pauli’s second album 'BLD' dropped earlier this year to a rapturous reception. Martin Gretschmann’s trippy opus took in various stops around the musical spectrum, yet remained committed to quality dancefloor tracks that refuse to follow any particular rule book.

This collection of remixes of the album's A side (hence the name) only adds to that achievement - bringing yet more new flavours and takes from some of the most exciting names in the underground.

'Abbebe' gets a rework from Sainte Vie who brings his trademark ‘multicultural electro’ sound to the album's opener, and produces an ecstatic mid-paced groover for the heads.

Oceanvs Orientalis drops a similarly exciting rerub, finding new angles and dimensions to the track 'Baris'.

Tel Aviv’s Red Axes turn up the psychedelica for the duo’s amazing dissection of 'Ayam' - deep sounds immersed in acidic tones and tight-yet- wonky arrangements.

Lastly 'Majid' gets the treatment from label co- head Nico Stojan who produces a sleek and spacy remix that will delight the early morning ravers.

A single Blue Jay feather in Upstate New York was the inspirational spark for Nhii's "Feather of Illusion" EP.

Two beautiful tracks that are full of emotions, and are sure to capture you in the moment.

Nhii’s first track of the EP, “Feather”; an industrial characterized production that showcases an artistic sensitivity displayed in the form of collaboration with the talented vocalist Pippermint. Just as the relationship in between confident groove ideas and eclectic synthesized melodies display a defined artistic proposal, the vocals are the true guide of how we should perceive this track, leading you into a sensual story telling narrative.

Continuing this listening experience, comes next the track “Illusion”; exposing a much more inner explanation of the thought process and emotional feelings Nhii and Pippermint went through at the moment of creating such. In this track, both producers focused on a finite way of telling a message at the break of the song, surrounding it by a frontal style of mixing percussive elements and creative sound combinations.

Instead of listening, let the sounds guide you into understanding the minds of musical designers, who use the art of morphing sounds to explain a message that is still yet to be deciphered.
