Sometimes it is so hard to stand the human narcissistic desire to show off. Behaviours of self-elevation, devaluation of others, invalidation, a lack of compassion and empathy, often antisocial or even sadistic conduct cause so much damage in fellow human beings. It's just sad and unfair. I can relate and that's what this song is about. It really is a weltschmerz or world-weariness problem for me. Seven years ago I wrote these lyrics in solidarity and compassion with those who were hurt by narcissistic human beings and I still feel that way and feel connected with the victims. "To all the dudes and dudettes out there that experienced devaluation by narcissistic dickheads. Being treated bad by bad people is always a sign of a good hit".
