Hi! My name's Ilya and by making this track I've violated 8 to 10 copyrights — thank god this is not commercial in any way! We're studying sampling techniques and I just had this urge to share that I usually get when I kinda like what I made. Back soon!

Hello dearest people!

The track is mostly a joke and was posted here because it's just convenient. I was showing mom how autotune works, then played with the track for a while, and then got bored :) Cultural reference: mom's singing the 1st thing that came to mind — a traditional soviet NY song, goes like this: "the lil' fur tree was cold in the winter // so we tok her to our home from the forest". That's not the whole song obviously, just what's on the track; but you can imagine what goes after: ginger bread, cones, balls, dancing around in circles, how enjoyable the celebration will be — not very original :)

Anyways, I wish you lovely holidays! I'll be back soon with new stuff ;)

600 followers! wow, I mean, I didn't do anything in particular, but you my friends keep growing in numbers with no apparent reason..

I thought i ought to do something to, you know, celebrate, so here's a "cover" which will never be released because a) I'll never have the time to finish and b) omg those copyrights, so complicated. But I assume since it's free to download I'm not breaking any big rules :)

In my opinion, music was all about restraint and concentration, and not about mobile apps. Hence, it took me some time to get the Loopy app, its purpose.

The track is incredibly raw and seems to be mono. I still kinda like it :)

I used to have grand plans of writing music that would SAVE EVERYBODY. Realizing I don't have the talent, nor do I mean to make the effort, started a long period of depressed silence. I've grown since; I realized now that nobody needs saving, and that I'm pretty OK with making meaningless pretty things that make me feel good inside. I'll be posting them here from time to time.
