Dr. Robert Fleisig, Associate Professor at the W Booth School of Engineering Practice and Technology, McMaster University, was a featured speaker at a student-led symposium focused on promoting increased physical activity as key to improved mental health and well-being. The symposium, held at McMaster on November 24, 2018, explored how smart phone technologies can be used to advance active living. Dr. Fleisig shared insights on ways to employ human-centred design principles and lessons from academic psychology to develop mobile apps with the greatest potential to trigger positive behaviour change.
