Danbury’s future looks like Alicia Ghio. She is a Danbury native who decided to make the city her forever home. She also runs a Main Street video production business, RmediA, with her husband, Renato, and chairs the CityCenter Danbury Board of Commissioners. Ghio says she came back to Danbury after college to be part of the growth and promise she believes Danbury offers.
 
Also on this podcast, State Rep. Michael Ferguson discusses preparations for Danbury Day at the state Capitol. Scheduled for April 12, Danbury Day celebrates the successes of the city and reminds legislators from other parts of the state that Danbury is the best.

The movement started almost 20 years ago in Denmark, and events have now been held in over 800 countries. In the end, its goal is to promote understanding and greater tolerance.
