After kicking off our Box Of Toys series last week we’re pleased to say we’re back tonight with EP #14, and we’ve invited the man @scottricard down for this one! Joining Scott are 2 remixers who have each added their own spin on these originals to deliver a 5 track EP with a diverse sound!🍣

We’ve been pals with Scott for quite some time now, speaking frequently and watching him grow overtime which has been amazing to witness, when we both decided it was finally the right time to give the people what they want and get something huge out there🙌

Starting with A1, ‘Watcha Do’ consists of moody synths, sharp hats and a seductive vocal that’ll carry you through the night, whereas B1 delivers a much deeper groove with a driving bassline and tight percussion combined with a unique sample to really kick the party off 🌃 
For C1 we have ‘Tasty’ which is exactly what it says on the tin! More creative use of samples from Scott on this one with some elegant pads and skippy hats to keep the groove going👅

Up first on remix duties we have Nottingham based DJs/producers @ld2music with their remix of ‘Watcha Do’, adding a slightly darker bounce to this EP with their use of lunar-esque synths and atmospheric pads🛸
Last up we welcome back @1906sounds for his remix of ‘Intentions’, who’s returning just after his very own EP release with us last month! 1906 (UK) is back with his signature percussion we’ve grown to know and love, merged with a range of FX and the many other musical elements that round off this EP perfectly👌

After her mammoth remix of Will Clarke’s ‘Let’s Rave’ in 2020, Patrick Topping invites London-based DJ/producer Ammara back to his unstoppable Trick imprint, this time for a collection of three killer original productions. 
Title cut ‘Acid Fantasy’ leads the release, with its distorted vocals and crunching low-end custom-built for dancefloor mania. ‘The Trip’ takes a dip into the late hours, offering hypnotic basslines and bombastic stabs over robust drums, flipping samples from a well-loved cartoon into a future rave classic. 
Closing cut ‘Havoc’ ties the release together with pumping bass and energetic synth work, adding the final touch to an outstanding first EP of no-holds-barred stompers. A testament to both the production skills of Ammara and to Patrick Topping’s knack for A&R alike, ‘Acid Fantasy’ is certain to remain in crates of party-starting selectors for years to come.

Sesh With Kesh is back for May and my guest is Nottingham-based DJ & Producer SEDDON

SEDDON is one of the five Loft Sessions residents, who are making a name for themselves with their signature big production events, they return to Birmingham this July 10th, with Michael James & Laidlaw.

Despite his artist career still blossoming, SEDDON already has a string of releases to his name so far, along with his popular download series, including his flagship track ‘MANDO’ - creatively taken from The Mandalorian.

The mix is a selection of his current favourite tracks, spanning from the more housey stuff, to his deeper and darker finds.
