Clouds:

Nur wenige Menschen können von sich behaupten im Alter von 21 und 22 Jahren soviel erreicht zu haben wie Scots Macleod und Liam Robertson. Für viele sind das schottische Techno Duo "Clouds" die Newcomer des Jahres 2013 schlechthin. Werden sie doch schließlich von den namhaftesten Artists der Szene wie Marcel Dettman, Sven Väth, Boys Noize und selbst The Chemical Brothers supportet. Und das hat seinen Grund. Selten waren Künstler so puristisch wie innovativ. Ihre Sets und Produktionen sind geprägt von der rauen Umgebung ihres Heimatortes: Kraftvoll und dreckig, mit Einflüssen aus UK Bass und House.
Seit der Veröffentlichung ihres Debut Albums auf Turbo Records ist ihre Karriere nicht mehr aufzuhalten. Kurz vor ihrem Auftritt bei uns spielen die Jungs im Berghain und bei Awakenings, selbst Boiler Room UK durften sie schon unsicher machen.

Blending his penchant for tough, rolling drum & bass with his own soulful lilt, Paul T's been involved in the d&b scene for a long time already. Having come up working with Adam F and Suburban Base Records, he's released music on labels like Goodlooking and Dispatch, both as a solo artist and a collaborator (Paul's worked potently with producers like Survival, Serum and Edward Oberon). Ahead of appearing at the next Bukem In Session in Room Two this Friday, he's kindly put together this introductory mix which highlights a lot of what he's about, drawing from a pool of solid selections that refuses to stick to one particular style.

If the legacy of the quality four four grooves that Bloody Mary’s Dame Music imprint has laid down over its 5 year existence is anything to go by then her new live and studio project with buddy Attan is pretty much guaranteed to be something the world should take note of. Named The Jaydes, it’s a special collaboration that bears its own title to set itself aside from the respective artist’s solo activities. It’s actually the first time that either members have ever had a live set as such - it was only this February that their first album saw release and this coming July we're looking forward to hearing the project’s fruits realised on the duo's analogue set up in Room Two. To give us a taster of what's in store and to also show a softer dimension of their sounds the duo have record an exclusive studio live jam for us while we also took the opportunity to have a chat and dig a bit deeper about how the partnership came about and what we can expect from them on the Room Two stage...
