Every year I try to "cast the net" and see if I can come up with a Christmas themed song.  This year it seemed like Christmas decorations were up before Thanksgiving, and so the spirit came early.

One night in late November, I picked up my guitar and decided to see what would come out.  I got the intro and probably first verse.  The rest came fast and I don't really remember the process.  

We recorded several live full takes and kept the last one and added some percussion and harmonies.
