Weakness

well hello and kia ora ( i just said hi in 2 different languages cos im multi taleneted.

what you have here are some songs that came out of some mates who have done life together over the past 3 years. searching for more of god and learning to be lead by the holy spirit together. cos a bunch of us are musicioans we ended up jamming a bunch of times and most of theses songs came out of those times of worshiping god with instruments. so we the revival isnt a band. its jsut a bunch of mates, who write songs, like a band. but not. what?

we recorded these songs live together in the lovevly building of edge kingsland on someday in januarty but its taken this long to release it cos we have been non stop praying and reading our bibles so much hahahahahhaa. nah jokes. do people still do that now days? come on this is the future. nah we are just lazy as. then god told me in september that it had to be out by christmas time so that why it out now.

the reason the guitars sounds out of tune in some songs is cos they are most probably out of tune, and if the singing sounds out of tune then you one hundrad percent correct. i have no excuse for that one. and the reason the drums sound amazing is cos zac is the only one who can actually play his instrument properly.

also we tried to be serious and pray during the recording when the songs werent being played but the desk we were recording live onto was being such a punish and not letting us record that it broke our steadfast focus and caused us to just talk the whole time and drink cups of tea which made us too hot cos it the middle of summer which then caused us to take our shirst off and if you hear clanking of cups is cos its the clanking of cups being clanked. oh yeah and if you hear a buzzy as voice that sounds like satan at the end of song 6 (i cant remember the name of it). dont be alarmed cos it most probably not him cos all the songs were totes anti him. it would have probably been me but i just forgot cos i was distracted by so many shirtless guys.

but i hope you enjoy the songs cos we really put in heaps of effort having one practice before the recording time hahahah. so please take these songs for free cos we want people to have them and share them with their mates but we be siked also if you want to give some money so we can get to  records some more songs for you cos we are from new zealand and still live in huts made of straw and mud.

oh yeah i want to thank luke cooper for being the reason this has even happend. he is the biggest legund in the world and is so talented and so willing. cos of him we were able to afford to hire the thigns needed to record the songs and then him having to try mix our horrible playing and singing over the year to make it bearable for you guys to listen to and for all the late nights of me and jesse asking him to try our stupid ideas out to see if it sounds cool or not and then changing our thoughts the next day (that was mainly me but i thought if i brought jesse into it hten i owuldnt seem as bad) so many cups of teas and hokey pokey sqwiggles to get this done but yeah thanks so much luke. this recording goes out to you mate. next time we will have 2 practices before the recording i promise. blessings and blessings. please get him to record your band.
