For our 6th release, we are thrilled to welcome Sweely to the Automatic Writing family! Well known for his residency at Concrete Paris and his instant-classic releases on Lobster Theremin and Distant Hawaii, we showcase here the minimal / tech-house side of his versatile work. 

"This Is Between Me And You" is fueled by a UK Garage vibe, while "Beauty Is Random" has more of an early 2000s microhouse groove. On the flip side, "Let Me Know" is a ruff jazzy house ballade and "Non Stop Funkin'" is tailored for dancefloors with a rolling and fast-paced note. Finally, each side starts with a jazzy hip-hop beat perfect for home listening.

For his first solo release, Amadeo Savio takes care of VGNR05 with a new EP that shows off his very real skills, spread across four fresh cuts. This cult minimal house producer has landed himself on some impressive labels so far and is an assured talent amongst the scene right now, you would not know this is his first personal outing. 

Opener 'Isolat' is nine minutes of silky and slinky deep house with punchy drum programming that gets you moving. 'Trance Later' is deeper and more zoned out, with heady pads and dub vibes sinking you into the depths of the cut. Arranged for dance floor pleasures. 'Encor' then gets a little freaky with some deft synths and sci-fi sounds, tripped out pads and generally beautiful ambient sounds. Last of all, 'Passion' then chops up vocals, bendy synths and raw hits into a jittery groove that keeps you on your toes. 

An excellent EP overall from, Amadeo Savio.
