With inspirations spanning from Samurai Movies of the 1950's across Hip-Hop from the 80's, to white-labelled tool-techno records and Anime from the 90's, Narciss has catapulted themselves into the contemporary hard dance spotlight with a flurry of furious cuts on Lobster Theremin and 1Ø PILLS MATE, and now the German producer readies four synth-wavey bops of pop-techno and hardcore on Eurodance Inc.

Taking as much influence from the golden-era of trance electronics as it is the Tresor heyday, it’s gradual incline from techno to eurodance is completed on ‘Power To The People’; a cut of deep trance that touches the border of cheese whilst maintaining a headsy, underground appeal.

For our first free download of the year we welcome Adam Sellouk to the series for his first appearance. Hailing from Israel, Adam Sellouk first emerged in 2021 with a contribution to Steyoyoke’s Paradigm collection. Immediately recognized for his astral sound, Adam quickly caught the attention of world class DJ Miss Monique, who signed him to her Siona Records imprint for a two-track showcase later that same year. 2022 would see further successes for Adam, with Nora En Pure’s Purified imprint being the landing spot for ‘Mirage’, a well received production which saw play from Agents of Time, Innellea, Kevin de Vries and Mathame. Also an accomplished DJ, Adam has been a fixture of his country’s nightlife of late, programming music for some of Tel Aviv’s trendiest venues. A recent highlight of Adam’s sets has been his much requested rendition of Empire of the Sun’s ‘We Are The People’. As the second single from the band’s debut album ‘Walking on a Dream’, the track would go on to achieve critical and commercial success, ultimately peaking at #1 in Germany by the end of 2010. With Adam’s take on the track already receiving considerable play from Kevin de Vries and Konstantin Sibold, we’re pleased to offer it as an exclusive free download. Enjoy.

In einer Welt, in der Kapitalismus zur Religion und Diktatur geworden ist, verwandeln wir das Heidelberger CAVE am 7.12. genau in das Gegenteil: EDEN. Mit passender Deko und himmlischer Musik versteht sich. Die Idee ist euch und uns ein mal im Monat einen Abend zu bescheren, an dem alles passt und alles abgedeckt ist:
Zum Einstieg gibt es erst mal ganz entspannt Gitarre auf Weltklasse-Niveau mit Kris Bauer & Feijoa. Im zweiten Set kommt die Band dazu incl. 2 Opernsängerinnen - das ganze wird dann immer rhythmischer und elektronischer bis die Heidelberger Jungs von 2BUSY fließend übernehmen.

Und am Tag drauf gehen wieder alle schön brav arbeiten, in die Uni oder sonstwohin und machen mehr oder weniger mit beim abgefuckten, kapitalistischen Spiel. Und warum? Weil es kein Entrinnen gibt. Ausser im Cave. Also ihr Sünder, tragt den 7.12. ein in eure digitalen Terminkalender und macht mit Edding ein rosa Herzchen hintendran!
