Kidnap Kid - So Close taken from the Black Butter Volume # One compilation.

Black Butter Records, The critically acclaimed UK label that launched the careers of Rudimental, Gorgon City, Kidnap Kid, Solomon Grey and many more, announce their first compilation Black Butter Volume # One on December 10. The comp will also feature remixes and tracks from UK Producer Woz, Grime mainstay Scrufizzer, Sailor & I, Joel Compass, Drums of Death and My Nu Leng. 

Started just three years ago in an East London Flat, Black Butter has grown into what DJ Mag has dubbed "The hottest, tastiest label in the UK right now" and have cultivated a reputation finding, nurturing and releasing underground dance music's best young talent and taking it to the highest platforms. From the discovery of Jessie Ware as vocalist on RacknRuin's Soundclash EP in 2011 to radio success with  Gorgon City to Rudimental who have sold 1.5 million copies worldwide of their debut album Home which was named one of SPIN's top albums of the year, Black Butter has become a force to reckon with in the pop and dance world.

Most recently coming off a Future meets G-House take on Missy Elliot's "Lose Control" after a period of inactivity, Action 52 returns with an official remix for brand new LA based electronic duo Soma and their debut single "Uncertain".

A bit of a departure from their latest string of G-House revisions, Action 52's "Uncertain" remix sees the boys dive a bit deeper than usual with a lush, bouncy and tasteful soundscape played against Soma's soulfully sexy vocal work and stems. The pair blends a perfectly swung rolling bassline, grand piano stabs and just a hint of deep wobble to create a tune which shows off the Action 52 essence while maintaining the backbone of Soma''s wonderful original. Action 52's foray into deeper club melodies has paid off, as they've simultaneously revealed another piece to their production game, while maintaining their club-first accessible blueprint fully intact.

Excerpts of an over 3 hour performance recorded live at Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm in Goleta, California, as part of the Google AI Quantum Spring Symposium on May 5th, 2019.

The Blessed Oscillator exists on a plane between the human and the machine. A collision of sound, mathematics, and synthetic and organic matter. A celebration of the celestial cataclysms of eons past. A benediction to the sacred Sine wave at the center of the universe, slowly consuming all space and time. We are the Blessed Oscillator.  

The anointed high priests of the Church of the Blessed Oscillator are David Harrow, Viktor Carrillo and Joseph Caputo.

From touring and co-producing with dynamic duo Sofi Tukker, LP Giobbi is quickly making a name for herself as a rising female star in the electronic dance community. "Jungle Queen" begins with heavy drums and booming vocals compelling all the strong queens to move to the dance floor. LP adds animal noises and creates the effect of being in a jungle room with strong drums that echo through most of the track.
