This is our first release of this year. The lyrical content is rather dark. It's about my schizophrenic junkie brother who died on the streets last November. I suppose it's a type of catharsis for me to make this song. Heather isn't on this song. It's just me.

Walking the Line

We are animated with The Spirit of The Living God. Catch the fire and be animated yourself! This is heavy experimental music that will hit you straight in the conscience. We've been compared to Melvins and old Helmet. Some of our influences include Norma Jean, The Chariot, Everything in Slow Motion, A Hope for Home, Hands, Trenches, Haste The Day, Mortal, Leper, Nyves, etc.

This is a side-project to our original music ministry Sozo By Charis. Lord willing, we plan on this music project being very experimental in nature. Animate will include many progressive-like art in nature. Some of it will be soft, some heavy, but all of it will be Spirit-filled and Spirit-led art. Some of it will be guitar-oriented, some electronic-oriented. Some of it will be both. The whole idea with "Animate" is that we can just let loose with our art and let Him lead. We hope this new music project blesses you in Jesus' name!
