As Pig Room Trax gains momentum we are thrilled to announce our next release from dance music and Bonzai legend Yves Deruyter with the big room pumping Desert Storm. Yves has remained a much loved and revered figure around the European dance music scene, his affiliation with clubbers, promoters, DJ's and producers has stood the test of time and to this day he continues to ply his trade on the wheels of steel. A career that spans three decades he has kept his finger on the pulse of the latest sounds. There is so much more we can say about this guy, but we'll let his music do the talking.

Desert Storm intros with a cool drum pattern and classic woop vocal. Pitching synths rise up to ear piercing heights before the drop where we get slammed into a full on big room groove complete with growling vocal and heavy basses. The track breaks to reveal some tight drum arrangements before we are led into a huge climax and back to that big and ballsy hook that will no doubt get the hands in the air. Massive big room sounds here that will no doubt feature in many sets from clubs to summer festivals.

Mirror Records starts the new year with a fabulous 5 track EP by Julian Rocchi & Nicolas Buccafusca including two remixes by Baunder and Bock & Fuchs. The EP kicks off with "Right Copy", the title track of this EP. The progressive house track features stirring pad sounds and ever evolving percussive elements. Next comes Baunders remix of "Right Copy". He added more depth to to the track trough a sweet musical landscape carried by a blend of additional harmonies. The second original track "White Rhino" captivates through a more forward approach, where driving drums and a hypnotic melody will make sure to get everyone moving. The remix of "White Rhino" was crafted by Mirror Records veteran Bock & Fuchs and fits perfectly to the EP, giving it additional dynamics and clarity. "Insight" finally completes the EP with its club-focused sound and rounds off this release beautifully.

After the success of Hiato Music's debut, with an EP signed by Binaryh, now it is BLANCAh's turn to leave her unmistakable mark consolidating the musical aesthetics of the label, which belongs to both artists. If Binaryh is the pulsating and energetic body of the label, with songs that look like a locomotive full of pressure and groove, BLANCAh is the sensitive and elegant body, mixing power and poetry in her compositions. So is Signs Of Bliss, her new EP that has two original tracks.

"Although we lived such troubled year as 2020, full of fears, uncertainties and concerns, I tried to face adversity with hope, looking for signs of happiness in small daily gestures. Hence these songs were born as my particular manifestations of hope in a better year. " Explains BLANCAh.

Serenity is the opening song and starts with a crystalline piano - a constant in the artist's compositions - that continues to solo from the beginning to the end of the song. The composition grows with the entry of percussive drums that bring drama and reinforce the powerful groove of the bass lines. It is in fact a strong song, whose serenity is reflected in the correct choice of timbres, in the way the instruments in the Break are interspersed, in the way the melody surrounds us, creating a "sound space" capable of leading us to serene places within ourselves.

Signs Of Bliss, the song that gives the ep its name, is strong and progressive. It presents an immersive and dynamic melody that sounds during practically the entire track. The melodic bed is on account of the aerial Pads that alternate our attention, time turned to the main melody, time to the background and it is exactly this game that makes the music interesting and well built.

BLANCAh once again gives us a mature work and proves what has been said about her music since she appeared on the underground scene in 2014. She is in fact an artist who stands out for her originality, creativity, and sensitivity.

Sings Of Bliss is an ep full of personality, it fits very well both on the set of artists who value authenticity in their selections and on the playlist of listeners with refined taste

History learns people have always seen us as ambassadors of quality electronic music regardless the genres we touch. Over the years music has evolved, so did our musical taste, a combination which is pushing us to think more forward.

In order to focus on what we really want to do and giving artists what they deserve, it's become necessary to discontinue some of our labels. Most of these labels are part of that trance scene which we helped develop in the early 90's. The trance scene of today does not fit our vision, so we will fully focus our 3 remaining trance labels (Subtraxx, Camouflage & Nemesis) on quality progressive trance.

You will wonder now what we really want to focus on, well deep progressive, mini tech, tech house and real progressive house as we have been doing in our own way over the past year on Bonzai Progressive, Bonzai Basiks, ...
