Mark Found - Sagittarius (original Mix) sample

Italian DJ and producer Marco Trovato aka Mark Found debuts on Bonzai Progressive with the superb 'Sagittarius' and comes with an Original and Dub flavour. Mark started out at a young age, at just 16 he began to DJ at local radio stations where he soon became noticed and was offered many gigs in local clubs. He was playing Acid House and Rap in 1990 and soon his friends were encouraging him to get into the production side of things. His first equipment was of course a set of 1200's and an Amiga computer. He learned all about MIDI and was soon churning out his own brand of Acid music using synths, sequencers and samplers. At this time he was also going all over Italy, taking part in DJ competitions where he showed off his mixing and scratching skills.

First up we have the Original Mix which takes us on a sublime journey into the deeper side of progressive house. The intro gets us on the move with a nice chunky kick and a cool array of FX that create a good portion of the sound. A deep bubbly bass comes through brilliantly as subtle melodic sequences play out in the background. Super tight arrangements on the drums and percussions give off a steady flowing groove while swirling pads will captivate your mind. A definite must have track as you will not want to miss this epic journey.

The Dub Mix goes all out deep and dark progressive with a monster kick on the intro and a truly awesome deep throbbing bass that is a big focus of the sound. Smooth and steady percussion patterns bring rhythms to life as cool synths build a nice melodic structure. Beautifully layered textures create a surreal atmosphere that is almost tangible. Top notch stuff from Mark and not to be missed.

Sagittarius

Mark Found - Sagittarius (Bonzai Progressive)

Go Toward The Light sets off in full on mode with a chunky kick and superb pulsating bassline. Beautiful synth pads sweep through the sound and tease out sweet melodic sequences. The bassline is hypnotic as it remains a constant throughout the track and is accompanied by some very cool FX. The break opens up a surreal world with the bass and synths contrasting beautifully. A perfect example of progressive house with that darker edge and no doubt this will grab a lot of attention.

Akos Turzai aka Nova Gravity started his musical career in 2003. At the beginning under different names and genres, but he ended up by 4/4 beats music. In 2007 he joined the Lollipop Factory Budapest party organizer team, after that he became busy in the Hungarian electronic scene and played a lot on parties, radio shows or often on festivals and had some international gigs in European cities like Vienna, Dublin, Berlin. In 2009 he moved to Berlin and soon he was found by the Pink-Pong Booking Agency and Record Label. Lots of great gigs in Berliner clubs, open air parties and festivals. By the time his musical taste moved more to the German Techno, House and Psychedelic way and in 2012 the project Nova Gravity was born. In his music he is alway focusing on the flow driven by crystal clear progressive trippy sounds. After four years of living in Berlin he returned back to Budapest in 2013. He is sharing all the impressions he got from Berliner nightlife to the Hungarian scene. Since than he is running two monthly events, one called BAR 72 and the other one is Sine Wave.

Space-melodic groove of the main 'After Midnight' says pretty clearly when this needs to be played; enrolling bass with beautifully layered synthesis of melodies makes a great impression of this track.
Already familiar to us and the thousands of fans worldwide Several Definitions from Switzerland makes his remix of 'After Midnight' with a long story envelope with a flying and leftfield progressive feeling.
'Back Door' turns out to be a closing track, so saying, 'closing doors' one of the release.

History learns people have always seen us as ambassadors of quality electronic music regardless the genres we touch. Over the years music has evolved, so did our musical taste, a combination which is pushing us to think more forward.

In order to focus on what we really want to do and giving artists what they deserve, it's become necessary to discontinue some of our labels. Most of these labels are part of that trance scene which we helped develop in the early 90's. The trance scene of today does not fit our vision, so we will fully focus our 3 remaining trance labels (Subtraxx, Camouflage & Nemesis) on quality progressive trance.

You will wonder now what we really want to focus on, well deep progressive, mini tech, tech house and real progressive house as we have been doing in our own way over the past year on Bonzai Progressive, Bonzai Basiks, ...
