Arahant is the manifold creative project of Anthony Traynor which includes Music, Sound, Fashion and Art inspired by the darkened recesses of electronic music, psychedelics, mysticism, meditation, revolutionary movements and the constant call of the self.

In his 20 years of music production, Anthony has been a key player in forming the US Glitch Hop and Dubstep scenes with his former projects BreakBeatBuddha and PropaTingz. His formative years began on a council estate in Wolverhampton, UK, an area known as the “Black Country” as it was the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. Answering his creative call he eventually found himself studying Fine Art at London's prestigious Central Saint Martins where he dove headlong into art-making informed by Eastern Mysticism, Critical Theory and Revolutionary Movements. 

Through his wanderings, he was called to San Francisco where he became active in the burning man scene circa 2002. Inspired by its hedonistic blend of music, fashion and spirituality he embarked on his musical projects and path of self-discovery through Theravadin Meditation, Psychedliecs and Yoga. 

His current music practice explores the liminal space between Urban and tribal rhythms, the phenomenology of Bass and psychedelic space in an effort to find a healing synthesis between the modern psyche and the transpersonal self.
