Anlässlich der Fußballweltmeisterschaft 2018 in Russland betrachten wir das Politische im Fußball und das oft kritische Verhältnis von Fußball und Macht. Wir richten den Blick zurück auf vergangene Weltmeisterschaften und beleuchten, wie wir heute und morgen damit umgehen können.

In der aktuellen Folge sprechen wir über Rebellen im Fussball. Dabei gehen wir von den gezeigten Beispielen im Film "Les rebelles du foot" aus: Didier Drogba von der Elfenbeinküste, der Chilene Carlos Caszely, Rachid Mekhloufi aus Algerien, der ehemalige jugoslawische Nationalfussballspieler Predrag Pasic sowie der Brasilianer Socrates. Und fragen uns, inwiefern es heute noch solche Fußball-Rebellen gibt, welche Anforderungen es braucht und wogegen sie protestieren könnten.
