Eileen is Becky Poole and Christine Stulik. Brought together in the dead of winter 2011, they play murder ballads with a heroine's twist on banjo, saw, ukulele and accordion. With originals and tampered traditionals, they attempt to shed a new light on this dark canon. They are currently workshopping an original piece for the stage, using their music to tell the true story of two murderous maids known as the Papin sisters.
