Freetown X Q Major Normal (Dirty)

Freetown teamed up with the recognized international recording artist Bunji Garlin, for their second single release. 

The song "Born Soldiers" features a heavy tribal drum cadenced track produced by Keron 'Sheriff' Thompson, who is also well known for his production behind Bunji Garlin's 2013 international hit "Differentology". 

'Born Soldiers' is a lyrically driven record, conjuring emotions of national pride and strong Caribbean identity, while maintaining the magical sweetness of Muhammad's melodic and catchy motifs. 

The record is set to be accompanied by visuals that would also depeict the color and character of Caribbean people.

Welcome to our galaxy of harmony and melody, music and philosophy, good vibes and love over everything else. Welcome to Freetown. We’ve built this place around our hearts because we refuse to be anything other than what we are and if you’ve ever felt like you weren’t given the space that you needed to just be, then for sure we have the remedy for that. Mixed up in this living sound you will hear hip hop, soca, blues, trap... the 80’s may surprise you, but in this musical space more than anything, you will hear our hearts, the first and last ingredient.

Trinidad and Tobago is our launch pad, here, we have collaborated with Machel Montano and Bunji Garlin to create music that stretches traditional genre definitions.

We say: “How does it make you feel?”  

Further out in the galaxy we have teamed up with the likes of Showtek and Major Lazer. The goal is to create music that moves through time and speaks always to our human condition regardless of age or location. Welcome to our planet within a planet, take as much love as you need.
