"Seafoam; that froth of agitated seawater teeming with decomposing sea creatures, and the new collaborative EP from Boston-based Lunática, and Berlin’s FiFi. Does anything link this musical experience and natural phenomena?
The duo have three tracks that will churn up dancefloors. From the steel drums of ‘Seafoam’, dragged up from the ocean floor, only before sinking back down, to ‘Raft of Angels’ siren song of harps, both of which are battered away by waves of distorted drums. We end with ‘SubRosa’ where the melody has washed away leaving only percussion to keep us afloat.
After this we have each artist turning in remixes. FiFi throws the harp off the Raft of Angels and takes it ‘Past The Cusp’, into full blown drum workout. Lunáticia digs in the ‘Obvious Thorn’ to SubRosa and pulls out forlorn strings that buoy over the percussion. Rounding it all out with DC’s LIMITBREAK! bringing a ‘Rising Sun’ over Seafoam, making the churn into a whirlpool while light washes across it.
Or maybe, it’s just six dancefloor weapons that you’re not gonna wanna miss out on."

LUNÁTICA - Raft Of Angels (FIFI Remix)

The Middle East has only very recently been depicted as nothing but a warzone, negating and erasing a multiethnic and centuries long history rich with art, music and academia. The current reality is a simple one: people across the Arab world are being subjected to dehumanizing and apartheid conditions at the behest of Western powers.

“From the River to the Sea,” the first collaboration between longtime friends Loris, a first generation Mexican Palestinian, and Wildkatz, a Jewish American, is a clear and simple expression of hope and unity, with the aim of not only continuing to raise awareness, but to also garner a visible solidarity between two inexctricably connected peoples.

Few Latin American artists have managed to turn so many heads in the past few years as Entrañas, an Ecuadorian producer with releases on TraTraTrax and WVWV among others whose tracks have been continuously landing in the mixes of the most respected DJs around. Now his prolific career continues with an EP for French label Le Ciel Records which will publish 'Obstinado', a collection of four original tracks (+ a remix by label boss Sevenbeatz) incorporating elements of not only dancehall and reggaeton but also Ecuadorian rhythms like bomba and albazo.

A Golem is mythical, humanlike figure made from clay and magically able to move on its own. In the Bible, Golem is an unfinished human being, without a soul. Through the process of its own evolution and its makers' experiments, a Golem can contain or generate its own soul. It can appear in different interconnected forms and reproduce itself at will. A golem with a soul, in order to speed up its own evolution, will sometimes supersede or devour the original form of life. The album Golem is inspired from this source. Release includes remixes from MIIIN, Endgame and Zutzut

Shanghai native 33EMYBW (Wu Shanmin) has been an active member in the Chinese music scene for over a decade. A core member of Shanghai’s most well known experimental rock/electronic band ‘Duck Fight Goose’, over the years 33 has been a member of numerous bands including 33 Island, Boojii and Muscle Snog. In 2015, 33EMYBW released her first solo single "EMSYGYDL" on SVBKVLT’s ‘Downpour’ compilation and in 2017 released her debut album ‘Medusa’ on Beijing’s DForce Records. As well as regularly playing throughout China, she has performed at CTM Festival and Sinotronics Festival in Germany, China Drifting Festival in Switzerland and SXSW.
