Household name Riva Starr teams up with long time friend Santos to make their debut on the mighty Hot Creations, featuring original Chicago legend DJ Pierre and accompanied by a Davide Squillace remix.

Capturing the essence of Ibiza, title track ‘Fallin’ on You’ hits with tribal percussions and a  heady groove. DC10 favourite David Squillace picks up the pace with his remix and Riva Starr teams up with DJ Pierre for ‘Acid Train’, a funked-up ride of sonic sounds.

Naples native Riva Starr and founder of Snatch! Records has released on the most esteemed underground labels, from Dirtybird and Saved to Hot Creations. His famed 'Rechunk' re-edits have given his fail safe touch to names like from Daft Punk and London Grammar. Collaborator Santos aka Sante Pucello Italian producer and DJ is a respected artist with four albums under his belt and releases on the likes of Saved, Snatch!, Desolat and Crosstown Rebels.

Part of the Better Lost Than Stupid power team alongside Matthias Tanzmann and Martin Buttrich, Davide Squillace is one of the biggest recognized names in the industry and a regular at Circo Loco.  Quintessential Acid House producer DJ Pierre has produced more than fifty house anthems ranging from Phuture's ‘Acid Trax’, ‘The Creator’ and ‘Your Old Friend’ to Photon Inc.'s ‘Generate Power’.

One of THE go to guys in minimal tech right now eNAHS has happily called Elrow, MadTech & Pura Music home in recent history and this latest output, a super percussive & loopy 2 track offering on LVCHLD sees him in fine form yet again. The A-side 'Laff It Up' is an absolute ear worm sure to do a lot of work on the dance floor, while the B-side 'Love Trip' is a saw tooth driven tech weapon at home in any peak time slot.

Ray Mono rounds out the EP nicely with his A-side touch up which adds a welcome helping of refined and driving minimal tech to the package.

'Hailing from Talavera de la Reina, electronic music producer and DJ Miguel Lobo has spent his career crafting an inimitable sound packed full of percussive grooves. A purveyor of house music, he brings his multitude of influences together in his debut album ‘Moving Faces’ on Yousef’s seminal imprint ‘Circus Recordings’ with first EP ‘Stay Awake / Another Day’. 

Releasing music since 2009, Circus Recordings is one of the worlds most respected and consistent imprints, bringing together global icons of electronic music alongside new and emerging names. Marking a notable moment for the imprint, ‘Moving Faces’ LP will be the first album project released on Circus Recordings by an artist other than label head, Yousef. Miguel joins a list of top tier producers such as Carl Cox, Sven Väth, Marco Carola, Scuba, Green Velvet, and Steve Lawler who have also released on the imprint.

Making waves through the underground scene as an international touring DJ, the last few years have seen Miguel Lobo releasing on a number of respected and established labels including 8Bit, Defected and Knee Deep In Sound. Affirming his abilities as a producer, Miguel has seen strong support from DJs across the board from Hot Since 82, Marco Carola, Nick Curly, Nicole Moudaber, and Oxia. 

Not one to follow trends or conform to genre barriers, Miguel Lobo has created his own original style and sound. His investigative musical ideology sees him bring together many influences across ‘Moving Faces’ LP. 

“In the album I wanted to capture the different styles and moods with which I identify, sometimes experimental sometimes dark and moody and sometimes focused on the club. This is why I chose the name ‘Moving Faces’ for the LP as I share my multiple faces with the listener.” Miguel Lobo

Releasing first album EP ‘Stay Awake/Another Day’ kick starts the album journey. ‘Stay Awake’ conjures the nostalgia of watching DJ heroes play until the small hours of the morning, via moody basslines and infectious grooves blended with the smooth vocals of Rion S. Meanwhile, ‘Another Day’ presents Miguel’s melodic side with a euphoric mix, stitched together by the oozing groove that underpins the wider ‘Moving Face’ LP project.  

Made entirely with the self-taught production techniques of Miguel, ‘Stay Awake/Another Day’ EP provides a sure taster of what’s to come on the forthcoming LP; set to land as a multi-purpose project ‘Moving Faces’ feels fit for clubs, festivals or even the comfort of ones living room. '

Forever pushing musical boundaries whilst producing a distinctive and evolving sound, SHADED brings his Southern California roots to Hot Creations this May with ​Mad Stacks. No stranger to the label following his High. Alive. And Dirty. EP​, Demuir is onboard to deliver a solid remix.
SHADED describes how ​Mad Stacks is the latest iteration of his sound. ​“It appeals to the Tech-House side of the spectrum, as well as the Techno side. I have always felt my music was able to dance along that fine line. Mad Stacks is rooted in my deep love of hip hop music and that West Coast California "G-funk" vibe. Simplistic, pumping, and oozing with attitude.” ​He also explains how he ​experiments with his own vocals. “​People never believe they are mine. I have so much fun writing little vocal hooks, bits that stick in peoples’ heads. ‘Mad Stacks’ just sounded dope.”
Mentored and inspired by Ali ‘Dubfire’ Shirazinia, ​SHADED first appeared as part of the duo SHDWPLAY, who released a string of successful releases on SCI+TEC. He ventured down the solo path with releases on Tiga’s Turbo imprint, including the label’s best-selling release and Mixmag’s ‘Tune of the Month’. He’s also a key associate with Oliver Huntemann’s Senso: appearing on the 5th birthday release. SHADED is now working to finalise a new two-hour live Audio Visual show tailored to his style and vision.
Canadian native ​Demuir adds another dimension to the original, adding a synth loop to create a funky, new melody. With releases already on labels like I'm A House Gangster and MadTech, Demuir’s incredible career ascent shows no signs of slowing down for 2020 and beyond, with releases and remixes on Pets, Sola, Circus, Do Not Sleep and Hot Creations.
