Our studio nerds have continued to explore the mysterious Native Instruments synths but this month they have moved their attention to the wonderful world of FM8 which was used to produce dark and dirty bass tones, enigmatic drones, rough and raw keys and heavy drums that will add multitude of thunderous frequencies to your productions.

Included in the pack are a selection of 63 mind bending presets, 63 audio loops to manipulate and 39 midi files to help inspire your next slamming hook.

With the presets there are 20 bass frequencies, 12 drums, 10 sequence loops and 20 synth sounds.

- In addition, why not try running your signal through some analog circuits and noise to at that Old Skool vibe.

”Vintage Drums” focusses on:
- Creating crunchy hits with a prominent high end that cuts through, adding some serious ‘snap’ to your loops and hits.
- You can also use the 8Bit macro to add retro flavor.





Drum Enhancement

“Drum Enhancement” serves to:
 Richen the low end of your kick
 Add presence to the high end 
 As well as providing drive, depth and clarity to your overall sound
 This is the ideal effect to use as your “Drum Bus”

Not displayed above but also included in the pack are a selection of Audio Effects Racks that focus on enhancing and adding flair to all of your core drum sounds, e.g. Kick, snare, percussion, hi-hats, etc.
As per all of the effects racks, the last two macros are assigned to your signal’s input gain and output gain, allowing you to reign in a louder loop or, conversely, boost a quieter loop.
Please note the demo/preview is presented as four bars of the dry signal and 4 bars of the wet signal (with the audio effect rack on)

The Mind Flux studio nerds have been exploring the inner depths of their creative minds to bring you a whole host of gritty analog chords, atmospheres, and delay-drenched drums.

Included in Dub Techno are a selection of 156 bass loops, drums, tops, synth loops and dub chords which will give you everything you need to production deep dub atmosphere. Also added to the pack is a selection of bass, chord and synth midi loops that will allow you to add your own sounds to the detailed midi loops.

Michael is a creative and ambitious music producer and sound designer from Scotland. He has travelled across the globe for many years, working in the music industry in the likes of Los Angeles, London and Berlin.
 
Michael has developed his sound and technique by taking huge influences from his ever changing surroundings. This has helped him mould together a distinctive sound. Whether it is his funky minimal extracts or the rolling late hour tech house, Michael embodies a sound that helps to intertwine with your body and mind, creating a true listening experience.
 
This talent has seen him release a number of hits on Slovakian minimal label Leporelo. With each track possessing bouncy catchy bass lines, slamming drums and a wide array of glitched out percussion and effects. These delightful little morsels soon tickled the taste buds of M-nus artist Ambivalent, which soon saw the him  chart  “Greasy Love” in his October Glass Half Full Chart.
 
And it wasn't too long till Michael attracted other top DJ’s. The likes of Richie Hawtin and Dubfire started to play a selection of Michael tracks across 2011 and 2012. This lead onto Richie using Michael’s track “Wa” his essential mix on Pete Tong Radio 1 show.

Michael's music is getting getting support from people such as Richie Hawtin, Huxley, Josh Wink, Adam Beyer, Gregor Tresher, Kenny Larkin, Dan Curtin, Anja Schneider, Nicole Moudaber, Yousef and many more.
