We Are Not Pop Music is a noise post-punk band, founded in Bologna in the autumn of 2015, formed by A (voices and sounds), Ro (bass and analog synth), K (electric guitars), Not a man (electronic drums).

WANPM is the representation of the effect produced by pop culture on thought and aesthetics, which we highlight juxtaposing style symbols considered strong, when seen on their own, but that are weak and false if brought into mutual comparison on a same level.

Risen from the urge to describe the years, that we are living, through the forms that this age produces, uses and celebrates, in the continuous ritual of not-forgetting.

We Are Not Pop Music è una band post-punk, noise che nasce nell'autunno 2015 a Bologna, formata da A (voci e rumori), Ro (basso e synth analogici), K (chitarre elettriche), Not a man (batterie elettroniche). 

WANPM è la rappresentazione dell'effetto prodotto dalla cultura pop sul pensiero, sull'estetica, che evidenziamo accostando simboli di stili considerati forti, visti di per sé, ma che si rivelano deboli e falsi se portati in confronto reciproco sul medesimo piano.

Nasce dall'esigenza di descrivere gli anni che viviamo, attraverso le forme che quest'epoca produce, utilizza, celebra, nel rito continuo del non-dimenticare.
