In advance of their first North American tour in nearly seven years, London's NYPC prepares a new single from their forthcoming eponymous 3rd full-length. Stripping the project down to the two original members and shedding the New Young Pony Club moniker, the experimental pop duo's latest album splits the difference between the more streamlined, sophisticated arrangements of their last LP 'The Optimist' and the ecstatic sugary rush of 'Fantastic Playroom'. 

The infectious new single "Sure As The Sun" showcases NYPC's refined focus with a uncoiling hypno-disco pulse laying the foundation for the band's entrancing blend of minimal grooves and dreamy pop. The single's b-side "Mercurial" is a signature slice of NYPC's take on ethereal synth-pop swimming in a sea of oscillating bass waves. Arpeggios rise and fall as Ty Bulmer's vocals weave their way through the elegant arrangement. 

A perfect reintroduction to NYPC, the "Sure As The Sun" single will be out April 27th. The release of NYPC's new full-length 'NYPC' in North America will follow shortly after this spring.
