The seventh part of our mixseries comes from nuernberg based dj, clubnight-& festival-host FLORA. You might know flora under her past pseudonym mifti haram. She created an energetic, pure & industrial - one shot - techno mix for us. This is a premiere, usually she tends to a more trancy dance sound. If you ever saw one of flora‘s dj sets personally, you know that she lives every track and moment. With a very positive energy and stage presence, it‘s easy for her to move people through different fields of electronic music. Flora started djing two years ago and is part of the feminist collective trouble in paradise (TIP).

Nuremberg based dj kra.vale did part eight of our series. His mix is like an electro music driven disco train. Everything starts in the early 80’s with q’s track "the voice of q", a far ahead of its time rhythmic disco and electro track. "Electro" is also the key word for kra.vales sound. This "more leaned back for home listening" mix - in his words - goes from disco, warm synth tracks to machine funk. Everything is twitching and bubbling around, without getting to cold or to clean. Kra.vale’s roots are in hip hop, punk, uk bass and techno. At desi nuremberg he was involved in a concert & party collective called "dunstkreiskollektiv". Together with "team underbelly" kra.vale is also your person, when it comes to underground partys in secret off venues around nuremberg.

Mary Smyk did part nine of our mixseries. She is dj and producer from nuremberg and started her career in 2013 at private parties and open airs. She went deeper into the whole scene in 2014/2015, when she played support for yan cook and unbalance at let it be techno (libt) clubnights. 2014 was also the year she did her first release with team tibet on the libt associated label “ynot records”. Mary recorded a versatile mix for we are 138 that tenses the bow from techy ebm/electro/synth-tracks to acid/techno/house and broken beat, rhythmic & spherical tracks. In 2019 you can catch her djing at desi, rakete (alongside answer code request) or on January 19 for the second time at it isn’t happening ("the heat" clubnight).
