For our 71st edition of Deep category, we represent a DJ & Producer from Poland under the name Model 68. Model 68 is a Polish DJ and producer known for his deep, minimalistic approach to electronic music. He is the founder of Plastic Label, an independent imprint that serves as a platform for his explorations in Minimal Techno, Microhouse, Deep Tech, and Rominimal. His sound is characterized by intricate rhythms, subtle textures, and a focus on groove, drawing inspiration from the Romanian minimal scene and the broader European underground.

Plastic Label embodies the DIY ethos prevalent among Polish microlabels, offering a space for both emerging and established artists to release music that prioritizes artistic expression over commercial appeal. Model 68's commitment to this philosophy has positioned him as a key figure in Poland's electronic music landscape.

Through his productions and label curation, Model 68 continues to contribute to the evolution of minimal electronic music, fostering a community that values innovation and authenticity.

The title track, Groovy Fever (Original Mix), flips the switch between tech-laced rhythms and genre-bending motifs — loose-limbed but precisely built. Naveci's remix stretches the original into a tighter, groove-infused roller; minimal elements at play, but no shortage of pulse. Shannon Davin brings lift-off with a space-conscious take — percussive constellations orbiting through shimmering textures. ZAQ ITA dives into the deep end — a shadowy, hypnotic rework that locks you in and doesn't let go. Finally, Kramer closes the trip — a late-night weapon with enough elasticity and tension to keep the room suspended.

Nocturnal Shift EP feels like a solitary walk through a sleeping city, long past midnight, where the streetlights seem to breathe in sync with your thoughts. From the very first moments, Basic 96 opens a portal into an inner world sculpted from long echoes, subtle textures, and low frequencies that seem to rise from beneath the pavement.

Each track moves with intention, yet never rushes — like vapor drifting through alleyways, or memories surfacing in fragments. The dub elements are warm and immersive, not just stylistic nods, but living, pulsing undercurrents. There's a meditative pulse here, something that invites stillness without ever becoming static.

The Dan Goul remix reshapes that introspection into something more kinetic — a lucid dream on the edge of wakefulness. It plays with space and tension, keeping the spirit of the original intact, while adding sharper contours and rhythmic restlessness. It’s the part of the night when your thoughts speed up even though the world around you stays silent.

For this second episode, we are excited to present an exclusive performance by Mhrrmv (Zamin Makharramov), one of the visionary founder and driving force behind Buta Records, the very first vinyl and digital label to emerge from Azerbaijan.

Founded in 2022 and based in Baku, Buta Records has quickly established itself as a forward-thinking label, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of underground electronic music. With a refined focus on Micro-House, and Breaks, the label serves as a unique bridge connecting Eastern influences with the modern minimal scene, constantly exploring new audio territories.

Mhrrmv, originally from Georgia and now based in Baku, has been an active and passionate contributor to the music scene since 1998. Beyond being the label owner, he is a highly respected DJ, producer, and radio curator. His first release appeared on vinyl under the label Intelligent Sound, and over the years, his artistic journey has evolved through countless collaborations and productions that highlight his dedication to electronic music’s minimal scene. 

In this exclusive podcast, Mhrrmv delivers a carefully curated session that reflects both his personal artistry and the musical vision of Buta Records, a label already making waves far beyond the borders of Azerbaijan.

Yecad welcomes BRYZ onto its roster with his ‘Arcane’ EP, comprised of three originals from the Romanian artist.

Over the past decade the Bucharest, Romania based producer and DJ, Bryz, has been etching his mark on the underground scene through releases on the likes of Tzinah Records, Storytellers Records, Nazca, Esente Records and many more, as well as being a prominent DJ on his home turf in Romania and bringing his sound further afield throughout Europe. 
Here we see BRYZ deliver his latest collection of works via Yecad, home to music from the likes of Barac, Dana Ruh, Constratti, Sepp and more.

Opening the release is the title-track ‘Arcane’, a hypnotic excursion through ethereal voices, spiralling delays, immersive atmospheric textures and a crisp, shuffled rhythm section.

‘Calida’ follows next to open the B-side, laying down raw drums, intricate, wandering resonant synth licks, weighty sub bass swells and plucked guitar licks throughout before ‘Iridian’ concludes the release, employing plucked bass notes and sweeping pad lines alongside bubbling arpeggios, oscillating synth flutters and shuffling, reduced percussion.
