Brand new competition for producers to showcase their creativity, make music with some crazy samples, and compete for some prizes!


HOW DOES .WAV WARS WORK?


Each week, 5 producers will be assigned 5 samples that they must use to build a 1-2 minute song incorporating all 5 samples. Each producer will have one week to complete and submit their idea. On voting day, the songs will be posted on our Soundcloud anonymously (artist names will not be public to avoid voting bias) and voting will begin. The winner from each group or “.wav” as we call it will move onto the final round to compete for a $500 prize!

Ethan Hallerman, also known as Ehallz, started making music when he was 15 years old. Being born nearly deaf due to an ear infection, he used sounds as a way to communicate. Starting his career in New York City and then migrating to Los Angeles, he knew that music was ultimately his passion and wanted to make something out of it. You may have seen him perform with collectives such as Space Yacht, the feels, White Rabbit Group, and many more. Making a stable name for himself in Los Angeles, he has also started to develop a distinct and noticeable brand. He makes melodic future bass/future pop with nostalgic, futuristic, and dreamy elements. Some inspirations include LANY, Seven Lions, Xilent, Au5, and more. His most notable song, an official remix for Gashi/French Montana/DJ Snake’s record “Creep On Me” has surpassed over 180,000 streams on Spotify, with his remix of Oliverse’s “Get High” racking in 50,000 plays on Soundcloud as well. At just 23, Ehallz has been able to take his many passions and turn it into a genuine artistry that is unique in it’s own way.
