Barcelona based Annie Hall drops her debut EP on 20/20 Vision ‘Maruxaina’, following releases on D1, Detroit Underground, Semantica, CPU and most recently our Exit Planet Earth vinyl series. Annie’s eclectic and uniquely expressive output has seen her serve up tracks that take you straight to the dance floor, alongside complex and inventive musical soundscapes.

Kicking things off on the A side the title track ‘Maruxaina’ draws you in with nostalgic breaks and bass trudges, complimented by warm echoed chords and hypnotic tones. Next up on the A side ‘Meiga’ serves up a driving groove with deep rolling drums and patterned glitches, intertwining uplifting chord progressions and a soothing vocal, forming a uniquely mesmerising electronic soundscape. 

‘Brétema’ opens up the B side with a space bound atmospheric gem, grounded by a solid break groove yet elevated with cinematographic synths and harmonic melodies. Wrapping up the EP ‘Sarabia’ provides an unapologetic experimental expression that blurs the boundaries of genre, with off kilter pads, deep kicks and edgy glass synths creating a beautifully obscure serenity.

Resident dj on Radio Vacarme and working with many radios/djs/multidisciplinary artists in Belgium and abroad, Holy Coco explores electronic music from all over the world, putting female artists in the spotlight. Constantly evolving, her universe takes you unexpectedly from the experimental bass, to breakbeat, acid-house, jungle, from eastern Berlin to the jerky rhythms of the afro-Portuguese-latin beat. Get ready for a spicy and percussive dj set with a bpm crescendo. Enjoy !

 
For this set particularly, i wanted to work on the textures of quite deep, impactful sounds, evolving into breakbeat/drum/ravy crescendo vibes that break down the body’s movements in unexpected ways. Here, i chose few tracks from belgian feminin artists/producers as @sara__dziri @claraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa_

~ We're so excited to be sharing this precise, refined, powerful mix from one of our favourite DJs @djsacom. We've been following this Parisian sweetheart closely since his wobbly release on one of our favourite labels Man Band. But what really grabbed our attention was his slinky, rolling footworky mix for the enticing Fusion mes Couilles crew. The @pluscplus label founder knows his way to our hearts and certainly knows how to make our bodies move in unexpected ways ~
