Kapsyz - Gumiko's Quest [Frozen Fox Records & Electrostep Network Exclusive]

This story takes place at campground which is the foundation of a lot of caves and caverns, and potentially alot more than most people know.Two young brothers "Orion" and "Owen" decided to look around the campground to find caves to explore. Orion noticed an odd shaped rock structure kinda hidden in the distance,  and decided they would check it out. As they enter the cavern,about 50 feet in, they feel a huge rumble and a giant Rock Monster comes out of the wall and grabs Owen and takes him into the wall of the cavern, sealing the wall back up. 

Luckily there happen to be a axe lying nearby. Orion grabs and swings the axe as hard as he could, eventually shattering the rocks, revealing a secret passage. At the end of the passage was a blue glowing portal to another world... 

This leads to my first theme called "Orions Theme". Despite the darkness that hovers over this hidden world, it's still a beautiful place with tons of characters living there for Orion to meet as they help him on his journey to find his brother...to be continued

Time Away - Into the Yellow Sun (Cat Friendly Remix)

Ambient has always been one of my favorite genres of music, as well as soundtracks for games and films. The real inspiration for the track VENUS was the work of the talented producer Jesper Kyd, who wrote a large number of tracks for games, in particular the Borderlands series. His works literally combined everything, space ambient and epic soundtracks, which sounds like a real adventure, which it should be. For me, VENUS became the third large-scale work in the ambient genre, special effects set the dynamics and development, and this is not a static drone sound at all, by no means the second half of the track will immerse you in a real space blockbuster. More than a month of work and a combination of dozens of synthesizers and samples, as well as inspiration of course, and now I am ready to share this magnificent track. Scenario-wise, this is the image of a broken space station in orbit of the satellite Venus, one of the satellites of a deserted distant planet in one of thousands of other star systems. If we draw parallels, then this is definitely a reference to the game Borderlands Pre-Sequel, and the visual backgrounds were used from this game to create the video sequence. I managed to fully enjoy this game in my youth, and the journey through the endless canyons, volcanoes, icy gorges and mountains under the cold, atmosphereless cosmic sky, very appropriately became the image for creating the track VENUS.
