Anton Zavyalov, widely recognized as the frontman of Russian hip-hop band 25/17, takes a bold step into the world of electronic music with his solo project Ant+Shift. Known for its rich analog textures and genre-defying sound, Ant+Shift blends eclectic dance music with a distinctly personal aesthetic. His latest release, “High Water”, marks not only a significant milestone in his solo career but also serves as the inaugural release for SE:VER, a new dance label dedicated to contemporary club music.

“High Water” is a powerful reinterpretation of the 1910 poem “Spring Floods” by Sergei Yesenin, reimagined through the haunting vocals of Russian folk ensemble Kasha. Layered over Ant+Shift’s signature club-oriented techno production, the track bridges traditional Russian lyricism with modern electronic sonics—creating a deep, emotionally charged listening experience that defies simple categorization.

The track premiered live at Wild Mint: Violet, a prominent festival in Russia, where Ant+Shift performed it in front of an audience at the WBC stage. The performance marked a symbolic beginning for both the artist’s new chapter and SE:VER’s journey as a label.

Ant+Shift, one of the label’s co-founders, envisions SE:VER as a platform for forward-thinking electronic music rooted in artistic experimentation and cultural resonance. If spring floods can arrive even in late summer, as the Russian saying goes, this debut signals the start of a creative surge that is only just beginning.

Long-awaited Chertkovski release on SE:VER label. The track premiered at a performance at Savaya Bali, one of the most beautiful clubs on the planet. The track has already been supported by million-strong blogs, including Technoandchill. As well as dozens of famous DJs, including Betoko, DJ T, INVRS and more. Videos of the performance of the track from Savaya, Canna Bali and other clubs went viral and received hundreds of thousands of views on social media.  This is a danceable Melodic Techno with an atypical and very dynamic groove. The track Soul Valley has been positively acclaimed by critics for its high quality production and its versatility (for both clubs and playlists).

Chertkovski is a well known underground artist. He permanently lives on the island of Bali (Indonesia) and is a frequent guest of the best parties on the island. Alex is the founder of Reverse Showcase and Einmusik, NTO, Rafael Cerato, Alar and other famous artists performed at his parties in 2022 alone.

Sparks is the first solo single of the electronic project Vlad Sokolovsky (VS20).
