Premiere: Just Her ft. Kieran Fowkes - Let Myself Go [Constant Circles]

As the dynamic track titles suggest, Dave Angel wanted to go all out Techno for his new release for John Digweed’s Bedrock. “Power” and “Venom” are two monumental tracks to mark another supreme return to the label from the Godfather of the UK’s Techno scene.

Knowing that John is a fan of that classic 303 bassline / acid sound and had previously given a lot of support to his “Tomahawk” track from the  “Voodoo EP” (Beddigi47), Dave felt it was time to delve deeply into the favourite toys that he’s been working creatively for the last couple of years - the TR-8 and TB-3 machines from the new Roland Aira Range, for this latest offering.

The distinctly weighty intro to “Power”, overlaid with the snap and hiss of perfect percussive hits, builds and builds with subtle ease via a simmering, bubbling analogue throb, sparse melodic flourishes and a supremely unhurried, teasing arrangement. The end result is a super-fuelled, energetic, euphoric masterclass of a track. 

Meanwhile, the speedy, hissing, bounce of “Venom” is also an instant winning formula, with layered, looping melodic hooks building all the track’s elements into a hip-swinging, funked-up monster. Both of these exceptional tracks demonstrate exactly why Dave remains such a driving force today, having evolved and matured stylistically over the years, since his early heart-stopping techno outings more than 2 decades ago.

'Live the life of your dreams' is the name of the upcoming release by Berlin-based producer Juliane Wolf who already appeared on labels such as Manual Music, MNL or Babiczstyle. The name of the release is right on the spot, because in these two tracks Juliane lets us dive really deeply into her dream world. Love as a whole concept is the topic of the EP and it shows up in two melancholic tracks who are full of melodies and emotions.

'Tears On The Dancefloor' is a forward-pushing track with a rolling arp bassline and a remarkable string chord sequence as a central element.

With 'Because Of You' you will find a heart-warming, melancholic electronic music ballad with beautiful vocal and piano parts.

This EP literally shows that it's worth to live your dreams and even if you are sometimes going through hard times, it's possible to turn it into something beautiful.

Leipzig's Marc Werner returns to Kittball to release two luscious house cuts entitled 'Blue Jeans' EP including collaborations with Shuja and Music P and a remix from Get Physical's Martin Waslewski.

Since 2007 Marc Werner has been finding his way within his musical sphere. Along his journey he's had outings on Bunny Tiger, Kontor Records, Audio Safari and Kittball which act as an accurate reflection for his meticulous productions and emotive stylings. His honest approach and hard graft has earnt him sets at some of Germany's biggest festivals like Sonne Mond Sterne, Airbeat One, World Club Dome and Sputnik Spring Break. Joining him for his 'Blue Jeans' EP is Shuja who has previous releases on Nouveau Niveau Records, Rodark and Kontor, as well as Germany's Music P on vocal duties.

'Blue Jeans' kicks off with infectious grooves balanced with shaky percussion and a pulsating bass line. Martin Waslewski - who has outings on Get Physical, Stil Vor Talent and Exploited Ghetto - then delivers a tasteful remix of 'Blue Jeans' with rolling drums, shimmering basslines and smooth vocals before 'Circle' finishes things off with atmospherics pads, euphoric melodies and delightfully compelling sound design fused harmoniously with Music P's soothing voice.
