After two strong releases produced by Exon Bacon and Red’Out, Play Label Records welcomes its first international guest Boss Axis on its imprint. Regular headliner of Parquet Recordings, this German duo completes the artistic direction of Play Label Records and consolidates a feeling that oscillates between a real dancefloor approach and a strong party spirit with an emotional summertime touch. The feel good original mix of Continental opens the release and embarks the listeners into a summer deep house journey with dynamic punchy bassline on a highly heady melody. It is clearly the perfect track for all the beach and open air parties of this summer.

This one gets three great remixes from Marquez Ill, DkA and O.D.Math. This latter revisits the track in a more rhythmic way with a complete new arrangement of the percussions and a darker spirit . For its part, the Belgian artist DkA increase the rhythm while doing a great work on the synths that becomes a bit more hypnotic, bewitching and floating. The well-known Berlin-based artist Marquez Ill closes this release with a remix faithful to his musical universe oscillating between German Deep House and powerful Tech House.

With three strong releases, Play Label has proved that it is a label on which we must definitively keep an eye.

Parisian Popof releases the second single from his stunning artist album ‘Love Somebody’ on Hot Creations. ‘Going Back feat. Arno Joey’ is also a collaboration with Animal & Me with a feast of remixes on offer.

Following in the same suit as the first single from the album, ‘Going Back’ also features the voice of Arno Joey and is a superior piece of electronic music with great crossover appeal. Oxia & Miss Kittin team up for the first remix adding percussion and hypnotic synths, spicing things up with Miss Kittin’s vocals. On the B-side, Eats Everything mixes trippy FX and a big build for the main room, while Lee Foss keeps things deep and smooth.

Voted Best Newcomer artist at the Ibiza DJ Awards in 2009, Popof has gained notoriety for his work with Cocoon, and remixing the likes of Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers, and Moby. One of the most downloaded artists in techno music, he was appointed the official mentor of the Paris Techno Parade 2013's fifteen year anniversary, a great honour he shared in front of 300.000 participants. Animal & Me is a French DJ and producer who is also known as Mono Dos on Definive.

French DJ and producers Oxia & Miss Kittin are big names in the game. Their successful track ‘Housewife’ released in 2012 can be found on InFine. Bristolian Eats Everything has been a leader of the new wave of British DJs and producers. His releases can be found on labels such as Pets Recordings, Hypercolour and Southern Fried. Hot Creations co-founder Lee Foss has been growing from strength to strength with a recent venture with MK and Anabel Englund as Pleasure State.

The latest single taken from No Fantasy Required, “Blondes Have More Fun,” is accompanied by a trio of remixes from contemporary electronica royalty: prolific Swedish producer on-the-rise Jonas Rathsman, Running Back boss Gerd Janson, and international house and techno breakout du jour, The Black Madonna.

What better way to kick off 2012 for Suruba than new productions from the label heads themselves. After a cracking year that saw Los Suruba release music with Noir Music, Darkroom Dubs, Eklektisch, Time Has Changed and of course Suruba and Suruba X, today the duo serve up a statement of their intentions for the year and deliver and tasty starter ahead of their first EP for Get Physical in February.   

Both originals present contrasting and fresh moments for the floor. Basslines lead the way accompanied by the fantastic vocals of Louisahhh!!!, Los Angeles-based New York artist that you'll remember from last summer’s: "Your Everything" by Danny Daze.   

Backing the originals is a remix from major iberian talent, Edu Imbernon. Although only 22, Edu has already lent his remix talents to The XX, Maya Jane Coles, X-Press 2, Paolo Mojo and Uner... and released his own work on more than 30 labels including Get Physical, Diynamic, Noir Music, Darkroom Dubs... and has been the youngest no.1 in Beatport’s history.
