Recently touted as a favourite producer of Rebekahs & Providing high quality releases following up shortly after each other, Irish demolition train Dahryl is taking the scene by storm, proving to be an artist that can sit comfortably within the elite.

There is so much to say about Stereo in Montreal. But I guess in order to really understand this club that opens at 2 am, serves no alcohol and closes at some point next day, you have to go and experience it, especially that incredible custom made sound system. This place is all about sound and dance. This is the third hour of the recording of a night in February 2018, when I played kind of a 6h set, so expect the next few shows to be all about Stereo... I cannot wait to be back… hope you enjoy the show.

This set is from a wonderful Sunday evening in Mannheim at Hafen 49. Mannheim is the hometown of the famous Time Warp Festival and Hafen is an open air location run by the same promoters. Anfisa Letyago, Boston 168 live and I had the honour to play on their season opening party and it was a total blast with the best crowd and weather that one could wish for. With almost 30 years on stage, Berlin’s electronic mainstay Dapayk Solo is back with a new 8-track album that captures everything fans love about him: Minimal vibes, playful experimentation and that unmistakable “Frickel” edge that has become his trademark.
Dapayk Solo — aka Niklas Worgt — has never been one to sit still. From his early days in the ’90s, founding Mo’s Ferry Productions to starting Sonderling Records, he’s shaping the European Minimal scene, his sound has always lived somewhere between the club and the laboratory. 
This new album is a tribute to that evolution. With eight tracks, Dapayk manages to distill decades of experience into a cohesive narrative. 
The record opens with „Bring It Back“, a track that plays with the ultimate withholding of the usual climax and drop — it’s the first of those kind of tracks that pull you in rather than push. As the album progresses, the grooves get deeper, the arrangements more twisted, and the signature Dapayk “Frickel” textures come to life: quirky percussion, clever micro-edits, rhythmic surprises.
It’s a release that shows an artist who’s not trying to reinvent himself — but refine himself. Three decades of live performances have taught him how to build tension, how to break it, and how to craft a sonic world that feels both timeless and fresh.
This album is for everyone who loves electronic music with personality: detailed, warm, a little nerdy, and unmistakably Dapayk.
