October's mix seems to have just emerged with some kind of focus on form. To my ear, the tracks in here all have a bit of structure to them, something slightly angular. There is a geometry to these grooves, they feel like a sturdy frame against which a fabric of texture and melody can wave and morph.

Opening is always a ton of fun - setting the vibes and bringing people from zero to grooving is a treat. I got to go deep into my library to pull out those killers yet not bangers and those gems discovered during extra deep digging sessions. Notice 2 tracks by Luke Alessi.
