This was a special one for me. Losing both parents a year apart has been rough. I took time off from playing music but coming back up for air with another opportunity to close out Sunset Campout--the best party in the world--with friends and family meant everything to me. Feels appropriate to post this one on Thanksgiving as I couldn't be more grateful to have all you nice people in my life. As always, a huge thank you to Solar and Galen for having me back and all of the Campout team for making it happen. I spent years pulling tunes for this one so I hope you enjoy listening as much a I enjoyed making it.

Dancing without prejudice since 2008 we’ve delivered you some of best sets from a combination of the biggest names and most underground talent electronic music has to offer and to celebrate reaching podcast number 303 we have a very special treat for you indeed as Kink takes the helm.

As we’re sure your aware 303 is one of the most iconic numbers in electronic music due to its inextricable link with Roland’s revolutionary piece of kit with the same name and its contribution to the burgeoning acid house scene. So with that in mind we set about delivering an acid set that both paid homage to that classic squelching 303 laden sound of yesteryear whilst continuing to be innovative. Step forward Kink  and boy does the Bulgarian wizard deliver in spades on this epic vinyl journey through the genre all the way through to the cutting edge sounds he and his acid loving cohorts are putting out via their respective outlets.

Clearly a project dear to Kink’s heart (check out his quotes below) we’re tipping his modern take on Acid to be taking clubs by storm over the warmer months to continue is meteoric rise within the scene long after peoples obsession with the deep house sound begins to fade. Give his work for us a listen for the sound of tomorrow today…

"This is Data Transmission #303. That number is a synonim of the Acid sound, because of the cult synthesizer Roland t.b. 303. It was logical to put together some Acid tunes, so I did, but you wont hear the 303 synth in each track. Acid is a feeling, not a machine."
