With his long-awaited NYLO LAB debut, Heerhorst delivers a slice of indie vibes titled 'Skyfall'. The original track kicks things off nicely with its melancholic moodiness shining through as we meander effortlessly through indie dance inspired melodies, while the sultry chords sit wonderfully on top adding an extra layer of depth to round off this classy piece of music.

First up on remix duty we have US producer Ucros who also marks his debut on the label with a driving club mix to get you moving. The US producer duo is known for his melodic techno influenced sound, keeps the ethereal theme of the original alive, as the pulsating bass powers along, before its drum fills and general warmth all combine to do the talking. Like something from yesteryear, yet sounding fresh and exciting. Lovely rework from Ucros.

Ivan Berkowitz & Matiso are up next on remix duty. The duo doesn't need any introduction. The duo created a marvelous indie dance rework full of tension from the word go. Their mix oozes atmospheric vibes throughout and keeps you moving with warm tinkling sounds. We basically have the formula for a bit of a monumental outing. The groove and melodic warmness are the key here, as their restrained gem works its magic while it plays away, creating a warm glow, creating an air of sophistication. "Essential stuff!"

With 'Skyfall' Heerhorst really shows that there're no boundaries, as his beautiful melodic gem guides you to a full-on club laden, melodic hug of a release that will cause many smiles induced moments! PREMIERE: Heerhorst - Skyfall  (Ivan Berkowitz & Matiso Remix) [NYO LAB]

For our next release we are glad to present the talented Spanish duo WO-CORE with an amazing original melodic techno track called "Rigel" + two out of this world remixes delivered by Ben Deeper & WONO.

"Rigel" is a powerful but at the same time harmonious track with a sweeping synthesizer that alternates with multiple organic percussions and top-notch notes that carry us to the climax of our experience. The hypnotic lines & vocal weave in and out and shifts in ambiance and frequencies unfold.

Ben Deeper's Re-Interpretation tells us a story that begins with an engaging melody guiding our ears through a mysterious atmosphere, in which rhythmic elements are progressively presented until we reach a small break, giving us the feeling that something extraordinary will happen, then when our guiding melody suddenly disappears and darkness takes over our horizon, organic percussions and dark drones sneaky carry us to the climax of our experience.

WONO's vision helps us activate a state of consciousness with a continuous and mesmerizing groove, in which an initially dark and shadowy atmosphere slowly transmutes into a bright dawn. The track explores melodic movements and strong tonalities, in a perfect combination of synth and bass, creating a melodic percussion that dictates the powerful rhythm.

The third release of 2023 comes from the label’s friend and somewhat resident His. Creator (@his_creator). Who will be doing his second EP. The EP is titled ‘Blackout’ and contains two unique melodic techno tracks, injected with some electro elements. Also, the label is very happy to welcome Darse (@darseofc) with a heavy-hitting remix of the title track.

The EP starts off with the title track ‘Blackout’ and as mentioned before it’s quite a special one, because it’s hard to label it to a genre. Immediately the track begins with a heavy kick, which gets accompanied by multiple raw and electro-influenced elements. Throughout the arrangement more layers unfold, creating a regulated chaos. 

In his remix Darse stripped back the original and took a few of the impressive raw elements and the vocal chords of the original. An outstanding organic and straight forward kick gets introduced from the beginning, around which a specious play of percussion, hats and sharp basses takes place. All this builds towards the second part of the remix, where the purpose becomes clear while other elements of the original are getting introduced.

‘Overdrive’ brings the EP to an energetic end. The driving and ongoing arp can be seen as the motor of the track, which get accompanied by quite a tiny kick with below a pounding sub bass. During the break a new panned synth comes forward, giving the track an extra dimension, after which it goes back in its hypnotic rhythm with more surprises to come.

Mikah - Dark Matter [Aesthetika]

'Sisko Electrofanatik's Gain Records welcomes a dark and acidic, peak time techno release from Roberto Pagliaccia which also includes a remix by Alberto Remondini.

Based in Italy, Roberto Pagliaccia is back on Gain Records with his 5th release on the imprint and it features two of his enthralling techno tracks with enrapturing synths and brooding intensity.

On remix duty, Alberto Remondini is an Italian artist who has been making waves with tracks released via labels ranging from Black Hole Recordings to Mauro Picotto's classically revered record label, Alchemy.

"Without You" opens the release with the compelling tones of its namesake vocal sample, which is underpinned by an acid lead synth, high-velocity percussion and a rumbling bassline.

Alberto Remondini's remix of Without You reduces the acid and chunks up the percussion to deliver a hard-hitting version with a tantalising breakdown that ramps up the tension before the drums slam back in.

"Hold Up" is the second of the original tracks and it closes out the release with its thrashing high-end percussion and hypnotic vocals that are fused with explosive elements and a pulsating bassline.'
