A regular at the Gardens Of Babylon events, Budakid has honed a distinctive shade of heartstring House and Indie Dance which has touched labels such as Permanent Vacation and Berlin's Watergate. Here, he delivers 2 travel tickets for 2 disparate trips. 'Infinity' is a journey in the truest sense of the word. Through an effervescent bass sequence, clever filter control and kinetic drum work, Budakid generates consistent motion from start to finish. Euphoric melodies are layered as the track gathers lucency before a wide open breakdown renders a patch of interstellar drifting. Distant snares snap overhead as the bass sequence courses into focus, reeling the listener back into the pilot's seat toward a vibrant conclusion. 'The Curse' then illuminates some gooey, 90's memories. Nostalgic chords are given buoyancy by snappy, Bicep-esque breaks and a pair of synth lines that are braided together - tumbling over one another as they carry the tracks energy. André Monet and D-Nox return for part three of their scintillating collaboration series.

You’ll be well-versed on André and D-Nox, leaders in their field and growing naturally as a production pairing. Part 3 of their Sessions series sees them continue to solidify, drawing every ounce of creativity from each other.

We open with ‘Vale du Sol’, a deep melodic groover for the early morning sets. Glorious icy pads and delicate keys create the sonic playground on which sparse drums and piano tell a melancholy tale. Next, ‘Six’ keeps up the tempo with a deep, bass-led vibe. Coming to life with wonky sonics and melodic percs, ‘Six’ is an audio melodrama played out in your mind. Finally, ‘Heaven’ opens with crisp percussion and a broken beat before a huge reese bass drops and arms raise. Drenched in old skool rave personality, the pianos and keys speak to simpler times of joyous dancefloors and naive hope realised through music. Heaven indeed.

Some of the remixers are winners from a remix competition we ran earlier in the year, the standards were very high with some big emerging talent entering. Winner Francesco Pico turned in a hypnotic chilled version that set it apart, with Jaap Ligthart, Mateo Murphy, Robert R. Hardy and Pano Manara creating some amazing versions of their own.

Newcastle born Cristoph returns to Sasha’s Last Night On Earth with three more immersive excursions.

The entire EP is laced with drama, detail, tension and release. ‘The Duel’ smoulders with momentum, unrelenting energy and focus. Building on the distinctive signature Cristoph has developed on the likes of Pryda Presents, Noir, Bedrock, Warung, Suara, it sets the scene for the rest of the EP. 

‘Revolver’ follows with a barbed sense of poignancy as sweeping minor chords characterise the track with heavy emotion. Revolving and rebuilding with fluidity throughout, it’s another piece of precision engineering from Christoph.

Finally we have ‘Tremble’, a rolling cut piqued by rippling arpeggios and a bulbous sub that’s so strong it warms up the entire track. Then the breakdown blasts into one of Cristoph’s most euphoric, feel-heavy moments to date and the rest is history.
