Here, he delivers 2 travel tickets for 2 disparate trips. 'Infinity' is a journey in the truest sense of the word. Through an effervescent bass sequence, clever filter control and kinetic drum work, Budakid generates consistent motion from start to finish. Euphoric melodies are layered as the track gathers lucency before a wide open breakdown renders a patch of interstellar drifting. Distant snares snap overhead as the bass sequence courses into focus, reeling the listener back into the pilot's seat toward a vibrant conclusion. Patrice Bäumel makes his most welcome return to Kompakt’s Speicher series and it’s exactly as compelling as you expect it to be. “Luce” is a slenderly pumping piece of minimal soul featuring the otherworldly voice of Chiara Gamo. Once more, Patrice masterfully demonstrates how little elements he needs to create suspense, density and warmth on the floor. “The Cave” follows the same mantra, sucking us into a mystique stalactite cave full of echoing droplets and enchanting whispers. We follow him blindly.

Next up on Zatar Music is Fairplay with the Sandi EP, featuring the original title track and a remix by Niconé.

Fairplay, the Jordanian DJ and producer duo and Zatar residents, have gained recognition for their organic approach to electronic music, often infused with Middle Eastern and Arabic influences. 

With releases on labels like Kindisch, Stil vor Talent, and Bar 25, Faisal and Fuad craft deep and unpredictable productions. 
Their Zatar debut, Latlal, is nearing 500,000 streams on Spotify.

On Sandi, they draw from the North African Gwana tradition, using vocals from Moroccan singer and songwriter Asmaa Hamzaoui and the women’s vocal and percussion group Bnat Timbouktou’s Sandia. 
Sandi is a perfect example of this rich cultural heritage, enhanced with a thick, driving kick and fitting percussion.

Niconé, a seasoned name in Germany’s house and techno scene, brings his signature flair to the remix. Known for his work on Katermukke, Stil vor Talent, Bar 25, and his own label Dantze, he adds an Italo-disco feel with loopy samples, an arpeggiated bassline, and synthy stabs and claps.
