Saved Records welcomes a label debut this July from brothers and DJ/producer duo, Calussa, who land with their brand-new, 'Nara' EP. Born in Miami with family roots from Cuba, brothers, Andrew and Gino, have paved a bright road ahead for themselves. Their distinctive production ties in their Cuban roots and varies from Afro to underground Tech with undertones of global rhythms. Their latest releases have been supported by artists such as Black Coffee, Joeski, Dennis Cruz, Blondish, label boss Nic Fanciulli and more. Most well known for their label imprint, "Hurry Up Slowly", Calussa are no newcomers to the DJ stage with a summer 2022 tour comprising of dates across the globe including Pacha Barcelona, Annabel's Mayfair, Música New York, Chinois Ibiza, Paradise Music Festival and many more. The 'Nara' EP promises afro drums, robust percussion, transcendent Cuban-inspired sounds, hypnotic vocal chants, deep driving basslines and mesmerizing synth hooks throughout. Definitely ones to watch in 2022!

UK DJ/producer Latmun will add another string to his bow this February as he launches his first label project, Lateral, marking and celebrating his eighth year as an artist. A firm fixture of the global circuit with appearances at venues including DC10, Amnesia, Printworks, Club Space, Hï and Warehouse Project, his sets for the likes of Music On, Paradise and ANTS have seen his profile surge since breaking through. And yet, his stock only looks set to rise further across 2023.

Having released music via a long list of renowned labels across his career, including Hot Creations, Solid Grooves, Relief, Sola, Repopulate Mars, Mindshake and elrow music, the launch unveils a project which has been a long-time in the works - kicking things off in style with his new single, 'Just Play', with further material scheduled throughout the year ahead...

'The first release on Lateral has been a long time coming, but finding the right track has been challenging as I wanted it to reflect correctly what the label is about. 'Just Play' is meant to be exactly that, a combination of different styles resulting in something unique, which hopefully makes you want to 'just play it'. - Latmun.

Opening via a snaking bassline and crisp drum shots before building into a driving anthem armed with skittering, warped vocal samples, 'Just Play' is an impactful and mischievous cut shaped for the peak time, revealing an impressive first glimpse into the future direction of the label.
