As we have always said at Sprechen, one of the best things about running a label is being able to work with people that have played a significant role in soundtracking your journey through music. It’s with this latest release that we can tick that box again and welcome Jon Pleased Wimmin to the label for a stomping collaboration with Bristol based self-confessed ‘House Music Fanatic’, Dave K.

Higher is the result of these 2 musical minds getting together in the studio and is a no holds barred, peak time pumper that thunders out of the traps and cranks the endorphin machine up to 11. With nods to Fantazia rave tapes of your youth and dashes of secret hidden parties in Ibiza, this has all that and more.

Both chaps deliver their own remixes with Dave K dropping a darker Italo take that is full of ample pumping elements with a suitable roof raising piano breakdown, a biggie!
Jon Pleased Wimmin takes things more subterranean and cranks the tempo to full force tops off territory on his ‘Poppers’ mix which does indeed hit you like a blast of amyl nitrate!

Berlin-based synth-wave band Dina Summer released their highly anticipated second album 'Girls Gang' earlier this year via Iptamenos Discos. The band which is formed by Kalipo (also known for his
work with electro-punk band Frittenbude) and dark disco DJ/producer duo Local Suicide first made waves in the scene with their 2021 EP ‚Who Am I‘ before releasing their critically acclaimed 2022 debut
album ‚Rimini‘ and 2024 EP ‘Hide & Seek’.
The new album is a versatile collection of 11 tracks that delve into themes such as empowerment, outsiderhood, impermanence, nostalgia, and relationships. While their debut album was characterized by its club-centric sound, drawing from italo disco and '90s electro influences, this new
release explores a richer palette of new wave, post punk, and synth pop. The sophomore longplayer is more song-oriented, often featuring real bass and guitar, and showcases a more vocal-driven
performance from frontwoman Dina, incorporating more singing alongside her trademark spoken words.
Yet, it retains the same catchy melodies Dina Summer is known for, offering both indie pop hymns and a few undeniable club anthems.
After releasing a couple of remixes by DJ Hell, Damon Jee, Phunkadelica, Karassimeon, Boys’ Shorts &
Moderna over the last weeks the trio is now back with a special remix by their friend Joyce Muniz. The Brazilian-born Vienna-raised DJ, producer and FM4 radio host transforms the summer hit ‚Halkidiki‘ into
a big room house stomper with a deep & groovy bassline and a huge drop showcasing her unique style that has led her to release on influential labels such as Kompakt, Exploited, Permanent Vacation, Get
Physical, International DJ Gigolo, Pets & more and tours all over the world since the mid 2000s!
