After progressive house

Following extensive support in Joris Voorn's DJ sets, it was only a matter of time before Anjunadeep champion Marsh appeared on Joris's Spectrum imprint.

Please welcome 'Little Darling', an immaculate slice of glistening progressive house that twinkles and shines with every bit of emotional weight we need after a year+ of lockdowns. Taking a rainbow of arpeggiated chords in the same way many timeless trance records did back in the day, there's a natural, and very gentle, ebb and flow that's driven by the stately kicks, bass line and cheeky flips into breakbeats and tribal percussion.

Think classic Hooj Tunes and Platipus releases but galvanised by that fresh 20s energy and feeling that a new dawn is coming closer; Marsh is soundtracking how we're all feeling right now.

The Vivrant label boss' returns with his second single release in 4 weeks; ‘Depot’. While drawing a certain resemblance from the first, ‘Sagan’, in regards to its melancholic and melodically infused nature, 'Depot' is an equally sure-fire peak time record destined to wreak havoc. While atmospheric and serene, the track is a bonafide genre-transcending creation that floats effortlessly between something out of an epic movie score, 90s trance, and Olander’s discernable Pryda-heritage.

Samuel Kindermann aka Einmusik opens the pack with the beautiful and also powerful melodic composition of ‘Sponge’. Adding hypnotism to the party, this first song reaches madness in the breakdown. Things get deeper with ‘Sa Trincha’ and its delicate layers of synths.  This amazing second plate builds patiently towards an incredible journey which is twisted into the 90s flavor with the Gabriel Ananda remix. This extraordinary rework definitely takes ‘Sa Trincha’ to the next level. Last but not at least, ‘Pulsar’ offers the emotional and vibrant textures of the most elegant atmospheres, closing the musical spectrum of this rich EP.
