First single from the forthcoming FREETIME004 12" -release.

Months of lockdown boredom and a lack of nightclubs, house parties and festivals, chemically reinforced togetherness and gurns, has resulted in a new 12” by Paul & Shark.

The first single from the record titled ‘Roxanna_Break_Stuff’ incorporates memories of acid bright neons, the ubiquitous smileys, baggy trousers and bucket hats. Pumping drums, funky synth work and a standout vocal edit makes this one a unique and catchy piece of rave music culture.

The track comes accompanied with a remix by Japan's rising UK garage producer Stones Taro, who's been featured lately in several places with his on target vinyl releases and precise DJ mixes.

Steve Kelley has been a stalwart of the scene for over 20 years now, building an incredible career from his early days coming up in the UK’s Midlands scene of the late 90s. 

Having accumulated residencies and show-stopping appearances at some of the biggest meccas for house music globally, his Celestial Recordings label had also built a formidable reputation for quality electronic music. 

Here he brings his skills to Sublease, the home for slightly deeper sounds run by Poker Flat’s Steve Bug. 

'Move Your Body' is a chunky deep house roller, fully assured in its ability to do exactly what the title suggests. 

'Wishful Thinking' is a touch harder, but still retains a silky deep vibe that is fully irresistible.

Having just remixed Skream (omg), her style is exactly what we dig. In this remix jacking drums and classic synth chords form a solid foundation on top of a gritty acid bassline

A bit different one is ‘Takedown Request Edit’, which stands out as the deepest track on the release, keeping things eccentric in terms of the rhythm section while bringing in spacey pads to close out the record on a high note.

Tripped out, holistic House – from the future.
Elements sit perfectly within the mix, with meticulous and precise positioning. Introduction of elements are subtle, but clever. Dancing between notes, percussive shakes dart energy into the rhythm, making this abstract shade of house a secret dancefloor weapon.
