As summer draws to a close, we welcome the ninth edition of our Déepalma compilation series with four stunning cuts from Adrià Falcó, Darío Santäna, Seumas Norv & Jay Deep.

With the colder months edging closer, our latest release will keep you hanging onto warmer climates via four carefully selected club-focused records from an array of production talent from across the globe.

Adrià Falcó kicks off the EP with ‘After All’, bringing deepened tones and groove-laden instrumental flair from the outset. Rippling synth licks combine with a rhythmic sub-bass melody whilst a bed of punchy kicks and layers of crisp percussion ride over the top. The track’s sirenic vocal hook adds the final piece of character to this enchanting dancefloor warmer.

Darío Santäna’s ‘Djaneiro’ comes next, with dreamlike harmonies and potent beats. Building around a strong core of firm drums and delicate percussive elements, the track’s charming mixture of melodic layers lead nicely into culturally-inspired atmospheric breaks before meeting weighty drops and soulful vocal injections from start to finish.

‘Tacos’ comes next, with Seumas Norv delivering a delightfully underground option. Focusing on a body of gently bouncing beats and rich bass tones, the addition of creative fills, feel-good string segments and soulful vocal licks really bring the track to life.

The release closes on Jay Deep’s ‘I Don’t Know’, raising the energy at a premium. A progressively rising number with driving drums and a pulsating bassline, its spirited low-frequency emphasis is complemented by a sea of melodic layers alongside a cleverly processed vox to deliver a pleasantly peak-time-ready club heater.

En diciembre de 2023, ocho mujeres y personas no binarias se reunieron en una residencia artística para explorar la intersección entre la música electrónica y el pop. Hoy presentamos al mundo PACÍFICA V1, el compilado de las creaciones que surgieron de esa memorable estadía en el Centro de Creación y Residencias NAVE. 

En la residencia se impartieron talleres y masterclasses, para crear un puente entre la música electrónica y el pop, así como también, para generar comunidades y cooperación. Además, se realizó una presentación final en vivo, que es parte de lo que podrás disfrutar en PACÍFICA V1.

El trabajo que lanzamos hoy es el resultado del programa PACÍFICA, una iniciativa conjunta entre los Goethe-Institut de Chile y Colombia, la Asociación Gremial IME Chile y el Centro de Creación y Residencias NAVE.

Este VA se lanza en las plataformas digitales Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal y Amazon Music y Soundcloud el día viernes 1 de marzo de 2024, como el primer hito de los trabajos creados en el programa.

Darlyn Vlys’ hit ‘Runner’ was last year’s highlight on Polymath. Reaching the top 10 in it’s genre and gaining support from industry stalwarts, we thought what better way to celebrate than with a fresh batch of remixes.
Heading the pack is label kaiser Third Son, offering a broken beat variation on the theme. The additional vocals, generated through a Roland vocoder, pushes the futuristic concept to the next level.
Following is Correspondant/Permanent Vacation artists, Zombies in Miami. The low slung feel is a welcome addition to the package, and one that suits the early morning sets.
Polymath favourite Anii completes the remix package with a highly playable and energetic take. The acid lead- line compliments the original melody perfectly resulting in a peak-time roller.

This is the first set of remixes from Phil Kieran's Life Cycling LP that was released on Maeve at the end of 2019. For the initial remix pack we paired Maeve main man Mano Le Tough with one of a favourite producers around Cooper Saver.
