Up next on Toolroom, Martin Ikin and Hayley May’s huge 2019 hit ‘How I Feel’ gets a re- release with 2 brand new versions to get your teeth into this Summer. With the original already sitting pretty on 5m+ streams on Spotify alone, the super talented Hayley May got back in the vocal booth and laid down 2 brand new verses and the ‘Vocal Mix’ was born which has radio and sun-drenched summer terraces written all over it.
As if that wasn’t enough, there is also a special dub rework from none other than MK (aka Marc Kinchen) who makes his way onto the label for the first time. A revered DJ, remixer, and producer in his own right, with a career spanning over 20 years, MK has become synonymous with the House Music scene globally, garnering success around the world with his remixes and original productions.

For Toolroom, 2021 has been all about Piano House bangers and their next release on the label is already a contender for the summer anthem of 2021. Enter Bristol born and bred DJ GotSome & Liverpool producer Kokiri who have teamed up together for the first time on the extra-large ‘Big Time Love’. A party starter for sure, ‘Big Time Love’ is here and ready to get dance floors moving again.

A debut release on Toolroom for Kokiri, whilst GotSome has previously released on the label with George Kwali on their collab ‘In The Dark’ & ‘Caught In Your Rhythm’. For ‘Big Time Love’ the pair have teamed up with Tasty Lopez who delivers a top-quality performance that brings the record up to a whole new level. The rising star has cemented her place as one of the best vocalists in the Country after providing the vocals on Mark Knight and Rene Amesz’s 2020 global hit ‘All 4 Love’. 

A more club focused record than before, ‘Big Time Love’ features everything you could want from a Toolroom release and more. Its fresh production styling is layered with a tight rhythm section and a Reece style bass line that you’ll feel pumping through your chest. 
A dance floor highlight in the making and most definitely a ‘should’ve been there’ moment in the club when this tune inevitably drops. Boston-based duo Warung, aka Aaron Hopkins & Dillon Ames, made their Anjunadeep debut earlier this year with their remix of Nox Vahn’s thundering hit ‘Brainwasher’. Now, Warung return with their four-track EP ‘Sinous’. August is slated to be the hottest month of the year so far and Toolroom has been soaking up the heat with their latest selection of summer bangers. Coming off the back of his debut album ‘Untold Business’ at the end of June, Mark Knight has fully embraced the return of live music. With a list of tour dates stretching up until the end of the year, Mark has decided to bring his Soulful House sound even deeper into the club world with this remix of ‘You Saw Me’, featuring UK Garage legend Damon Trueitt.

Putting a fresh spin on this classic record in the making, the talented Dutch producer and DJ GUZ who delivers the business in a huge way. GUZ comes off the back of a Beatport #1 with ‘Set You Free’, over 1m monthly Spotify listeners and a stellar collab with none other than David Guetta aka Jack Back. He brings Mark Knight’s vision straight into the club, reworking the original from an instant classic to a straight up banger. A proper change of pace for sure, GUZ has stripped back the instrumentation from the original, opting for a ground shaking beat and deep pulsing bass line that has given the record a whole new edge.

Damon Trueitt’s vocals have also been treated to give them a more electronic feel whilst GUZ adds a in slick string section tying the whole remix together. All in all, this remix is made for the dance floor, and you know that Mark Knight will be hammering this one around the world in no time.

Exploited Club welcome in power duo EMJIE and Emma B who bounce out 3 classy club cuts packed with groove, energy and panache.

Hailing from Brussels, EMJIE is catching heavy acclaim off the back of records for Get Physical and True Romance, as well as a recent B2B with Diplo, a radioshow for Keinemusik and bill-sharing with the likes of Dixon, LP Giobbi and Roman Fluegel. Her sound is characterised by stripped, Indie sonics, classic House and sleek, infectious vocals.

Working alongside her is Emma B - a Paris based producer and DJ also firmly on the ascent with releases on Shall Not Fade, BBC’s Sarah Story’s Stories and gigs at Rex Paris, Fabric London, Shelter Amsterdam, and After Caposile.
Highly skilled in the studio, her sound is steeped in dance floor literacy - informed by late 90s and early 2000s Minimal, Trance and Hard House.

'Ace Of Spades' kicks things off with a tight braid of organs and synths that duck and weave over immaculately crafted drums and a buoyant, proggy bass line that locks in a bubbly momentum from the get go. Vocals ring out, snare fills roll and harmonies fuse to form a fizzy, ecstatic vibe that nails a peak-flow tenor.

'My Favourite' follows up with neat, infectious drums that ooze snap and sass while a catchy synth and bass line climb together in lockstep. More vocals are woven in while harmonies thicken and a loose, free-flowing mood unfurls. Energy smoulders subtly shifting up the gears with a nice, mid-set intensity: chic, locked in and effortlessly sexy.

'The Bass You Need' finishes things off with an intricate, bongo-heavy drumtrack that's propelled by more swirling synths and spacious sound design. Deliciously trippy - the groove is heady and slinky recalling labels like Pagan and Swag from UK Tech House hay-day. Drums remain light on their feet - nimble and active whilst packing a satisfying wallop that'll make it an easy draw for DJs.'
