Anjunadeep warmly welcomes back Joseph Ray for the standalone release of his striking single  ‘Changing Lanes’.

First heard on flagship compilation Anjunadeep 13, ‘Changing Lanes’ stands out for its all-enveloping sound design, including a distinct cavernous bass line that has become characteristic of Ray’s solo work. Keeping to his penchant for journey-like compositions, Ray has included the eight-minute original mix on the single.

The single follows Ray’s 2021 collaborative album ‘Leave the Bones’, written and recorded with Haitian band Lakou Mizik. Celebrated by the likes of NPR, Pitchfork, BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Worldwide FM, Billboard, and The Times, ‘Leave the Bones’ laid bare the rich musical culture of Haiti, and exhibited the beauty, hope and resilience of the island nation’s people. The album will see an adjoining feature-length film released later this year.

Since making his label debut on 'Explorations 07’ back in 2018, Marsh has solidified himself as a firm label favourite and future star. Championed by the likes of Joris Voorn, Kölsch, and Phil Taggart at BBC Radio 1, Marsh now returns with his ‘Lost In You EP’.

Leading with ‘Lost In You’, Marsh lends his own vocal to the track, characteristically weaving a driving bass with groove-laden percussion. Next up, with its shivering arpeggios riffs and dreamlike atmospherics, the reminiscent ‘Gijpe’ gives a nod to the label’s inaugural ‘Explorations’ festival in Dhërmi last summer where Marsh performed on the secluded beaches of Albania’s Ionia Coast. A highlight from ‘Anjunadeep 11’ earlier in the year, Marsh closes the EP with another meticulously crafted melodic cut with the piano-led ‘Human’.

With a deep and eclectic approach to dance music, Uğur Taha is known for his genre-bending acts formed with the influence of the farthest borders of Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. As a first encounter with music, Uğur Taha played in rock bands as a  bass lead guitarist. Since his first days of engaging in musical instruments, he has always been fascinated by the sensations of world music. I didn’t take much time for Uğur Taha to develop his own unique style. His enigmatic sound brings together powerful tribal drums, emotional Eastern ballads, eclectic vocals and powerful/dynamic bass frequencies.
