Our October 2025 ‘Monthly Techno Mixshow’ features an ninety-minute mix from Annie Hill.

Annie Hill is a Finnish techno DJ and producer from Vaasa with a deep-rooted passion for sound, rhythm, and the energy of club culture. Growing up in a creative household surrounded by music and art, she developed a sharp ear early on — one that now defines her bold approach behind the decks and in the studio.

Her DJ sets are fast-paced, stripped, and precise — blending heavy low-end pressure with hypnotic, looping grooves that lock in and drive forward. Annie creates tightly built journeys that speak to both underground heads and open-minded dancefloors. Guided by intuition and a curiosity for the unseen, Annie explores the intersections of rhythm, energy, and consciousness — using music to connect, heal, and spark transformation, both for herself and for those on the dancefloor.

As a producer, her tracks channel the same energy: direct techno released on labels like Nervous Records, Codex, IAMT, Mal-Function, and her own imprint We Are Existence.
Annie is the co-founder of WAE Music Group, a platform for forward-thinking artists and labels — and the mind behind EXISTENCE, her event brand built around engaging club experiences.
A graduate of the Pete Tong DJ Academy, she was chosen as a Top 10 Winner of the 2024 Future Talent Awards, handpicked by Pete Tong, Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Nicole Moudaber, and TSHA.

Grounded in her roots with a quiet determination driven by her love for the dancefloor and sound, Annie Hill keeps embracing new challenges and evolution.

MiZi MuZiK’s seventh release arrives courtesy of New York City–based producer and returning
contributor MANTi. On ‘Void’, MANTi channels her groove-driven approach into four tracks of
shuddering polyrhythms, high-impact tonal design, and a fearless embrace of hybrid soundscapes suspended between mechanical and organic.

The title track opens with an enormous sense of spatial depth. Blown-out sawtooth sweeps and
crushed electric impacts ignite a high-energy bassline and a mangled acid lead. Contrasting its breaky character with an overwhelming wall of searing synth work, ‘Void’ unfolds as an explosive and cinematic dancefloor curveball with a powerful sense of gravity.

Riotous, genre-hopping centerpiece ‘This Is Not the End’ fuses organic percussion with a wild lead motif evoking classic Chord House and warehouse energy. Churning organ samples through layers of FX and modulation, MANTi delivers an exuberant and unapologetic trip through raucous rave intensity anchored by a throbbing Afro House groove.

Merging pitch-shifting lasers, stuttered metallic impacts, and radiating saw wave stabs, ‘No Shame’ inhabits a surreal intersection of tranquil beauty and convulsing machinery. Tearing electric synth salvos cut across waves of angelic texture, forming a bright and strangely mechanical reverie, electrified and wrapped in chrome.

Closing the EP, ‘Traces of Ember’ carves out a monumental framework of long-tailed, booming kicks, sizzling static percussion, and commanding martial drums. An array of mechanically drifting synths unfolds, gradually revealing melodic figures and resonant ride tones that lend an immense gravity. A signature finale delivering a cannonade of thunderous rhythm, enrapturing sound design, and a gentle undercurrent of evocative melodics.

With Void, MANTi delivers a masterclass in tension, texture, and sonic storytelling. Each track feels alive with contradiction—mechanical yet emotive, stripped yet immense—embodying the restless energy and fearless craftsmanship that define her sound.

bleiben.

CAMI dances somewhere between dark mid-tempo, pitched indie dance, and tech house – with driving beats, growling basslines, and sassy vocals. Her sets are like a night out with good friends: surprising, intense, sometimes a little over the top – but always with heart and conviction. Raving has always been political and should remain so.

Munich based producers Julian Wassermann & Oliver Deuerling stick to their roots on their “Monopterus” EP. A sonic incursion into the deep ends of house and tech, the duo pay homage to their hometown, as each title track points us in the direction of a well known city landmark.

Much like the monument with the same name, “Monopterus” is a solid construction starting off with an exposed kick that’s soon suspended by intricate melody parts, spare percussion and ethereal synths. Björn Störig tones down the drama on the remix. By focusing on the percussive line, Störig reshapes the melody, giving the track a relentless groove with major peak-time appeal.

“Muechner Freiheit” surprises with its minimalist ambiental approach, as looped piano chords create a sense of celestial atmosphere. The track is stripped back and hypnotic, adding to its sense of airiness. “Schwabing” combines the complementary essences of the past two original tracks, fusing an atmospheric ambiance with a steady, energetic percussion. Hazy vocals increase the oneiric sensation, anticipating the uplifting and elating breakdown. The final track is a robust cut that's full of tension and brooding darkness. Whirring synths and electronic squelches intertwine with ghastly vocals, amping up the murky factor.“Omen” showcases an elegant exercise in layering unusual textures, and the perfect track to finish off the release.
