An absolute musical legend, we are delighted that Hifi Sean has provided us with an exclusive dubs and disco mix for our mixtape series.

Hifi Sean headlines the inaugural Gin & Disco in Manchester on the 1st December, with Lost in Music taking over the 2nd room.

Over the last 5 years 80’s Child has been a name which has popped up time and time again with some key releases on Masterworks Music, Midnight Riot, Chop Shop and Hot Digits. His edits are played all over the globe by some of the hottest DJ’s around and that’s all before we mention his stand out Masterworks Music label which launched in 2015.

Masterworks has become one of the star labels of the edits scene releasing both vinyl and digital with 17 number 1’s on Juno and Traxsource combined together, it has seen huge releases recently from amongst many others Dr Packer, Valique, Natasha Kitty Katt and Obas Nenor. Their recent compilation Masterworks Music Vol 3 crashed straight in at number 1 on Juno an impressive feat when there were big releases from Joey Negro’s Z Records, Glitterbox and Midnight Riot which were all out at the same time.

Add all of this to a burgeoning DJ career which has seen him play all over the globe and line up next to the crème de la crème of the edits scene including Late Nite Tuff Guy, Greg Wilson, Dr Packer, Kon, Fingerman, Faze Action & Yam Who? and it is clear that 80’s Child is a producer who commands a mountain of love and respect from his peers.
